for a bit of a history lesson about a year ago I came back to FFXI but found out that my charecter had been deleted. A 75whm/47smn/38brd and a few other classes. I had had quite a nice collection of quests done and items. Fenrir, lu shangs, a nice set of +1 elemental staves (except fire and lightning).
Well even with the loss I was determined to start over and around the time I had hit 20whm and 7 blm a new promotion came along. The 'Return to Vana'diel'. I got my hopes up thinking that my old charecter could be returned to me after this long time! Talking to customer service they said that it would be possible once that phase rolled around.
Well, the phase rolled around and it apparently was not possible. Depressed, it felt like I had lost the charecter yet again and I left FFXI full of spite.
Now, quite a bit later I find myself convinced by my cousin to return to FFXI. He has never gotten past level 30 but that is still higher than my only existing charecter the 20whm.
So I have returned and aside from my cousin I don't know anyone that well on the server. For the most part any help or advice would be appreciated. A lot has changed while I've been gone but I am determined to just not deal with the CS of FFXI and just focus on the good things like storyline and the community. Would really like to get to know others on the server.

Aye, thanks much Zid! Hehe, right now am trying to find a good low-mid level LS that I could find group members and people to do missions/quests with.
At the moment I am having one helluva time trying to find anyone to do Mission 2-3 to kill the Bastok Dragon. My cousin (20War/10Mnk) and me (20Whm/10Blm) are unable to find or bribe anyone to help.

Drop me a /t ingame, as we have some 70's Players, and quite a few 20-ish characters floating around the Shell.
Welcome back btw, Some Local guys had the same issue, and are going from the Ground up on thier Characters.
