HMN and dynamis shells ?Follow
I'm sure there a few out that know them all. But for us who don't how about a list of names and if they are accepting applications ? And perhaps jobs they are currently seeking.

Anyway umo :p I know of a few or so, but not all anymore... theres so many that its impossible to keep track of them now.
But heres a list of some:
TheCalm (closed)
Zenmetsu (closed)
SpikeFlail (last I heard they are taking people, but not sure)
Lemonade (last I heard they are closed)
Diulay (closed)
Solistice (not known)
AzureDragon (not known)
FATE (open? not sure)
ObscureNox (probably open)
Kazunas (open? not sure)
Theres lots more too. But if they're closed does not mean its completely impossible to get in. It usually means they have a stable amount of each job or just did a lot of events to get access to something and don't want to go back and do it over again.
Easiest way to get into the closed ls' is:
1) Have many jobs that are useful to an LS. BLM, RDM, BRD, WHM, PLD or NIN (each ls uses a different main tank). Sometimes other jobs are included in this list but not usually.
2) Have lots of the items already. Why is this important? Well, they got lots of other people that want those items most likely. And they don't want to worry about another person being in line.
3) Have Dynamis-Xarcabard access. Most ls' don't want to complete the main cities again... beaucedine will eventually be on this list as well. You can usually at least get beaucedine access with a public dynamis ls. Beaucedine occasionally but that one is harder to obtain.
4) Have sea access. This isn't as important yet. But for some ls' it really is. Eventually it'll be a requirement for most ls'.
5) Have sky access. This nowadays for most ls' is a requirement.
6) Make sure your many jobs are 75 and not 65. Sorry, but the minimum for most ls' is either 70 or 75 not 65. 65 cannot do a lot for most -- that level is only for new ls' or those that are in dire need of new players. Or special exceptions.
7) Know someone in the ls. Doesn't always need to be a sack but someone with some pull there.
8) Experience is an asset. There is a difference between someone that has done endgame for a year and someone that has only taken a peek at others doing it.
Not /all/ of these points are needed in all ls', but they are ways to get into the closed ones. Just cause an ls is closed doesn't mean its impossible to get in it^^ Its just a lot harder.

Only one I can think of that Chibi missed is TheCrew and I don't know their current recruiting status (Send Thalion a tell in game and I'm sure he'll let you know). And apparently someone thought it'd be funny to rate you guys down because you replied to this thread, rated you back up to compensate.
Melon and MillionClock are two that I can think of that arent listed. Not sure if Melon is still around (just got back from a 6 month vacation from FFXI).

As a note:
Melon was disbanded a longtime ago and reformed into Lemonade. So the original melon name as a tiula / hnm ls no longer exists. Pearls for melon are still around though and it exists as a chat ls now for a few people.

And ya sorry I missed TheCrew^^; MillionClock is one? Never heard of it but ok ^_^ Also though theres 1 or 2 others I can't remember the names of... some dark red pearl and light blue pearl @_@; oh well

I believe Escaflowne is a dynamis ls also. Last I heard a lot of HNM based ls are closed to applicants unless you are one of the more vital jobs (brd, whm, smn, etc) and even then it may not happen since a lot of players are taking alternate jobs to 75 to be more readily usable in events(melee taking up brd or rdm so they can participate).
Well my brd is 61 right now going on 62 so ill probably ask around when my brd is 75 thanks for the info :)
