Slowga.

This game is very tedius to begin with, but the majority of players seem to make in unbearable.

You ever get and invite, theres 5 members and you need one more crucial member, which is the norm then you wait 30-45 min for last member. Finally you invite them and ready to go. This is now when other members decide that this is now a good time to go afk, or the , oh wait i have to get something from the ah or my mh. Is it not possible for you to do this during the wait.

So now its 30 mins after you invited your last member and you are finally ready to go.

You go to your camp, but hence again, afk people, or the inevitable group of people 60+ that still havent figured out how to get to camp without aggroing half the mobs and dieing.

If you havent figured what sneak and invisible are useful for by lvl 60, its a sign to give up the game.

Also you ever get into a mission party, you get everyone together but for some reason it takes 2 hours just to get started and going because half the people forget things, forget to start mission or other things, why does this happen all the time. Do people have such little respect for other peoples time, or do you just have no life and nothing better to do but waste everyone time cause you got nothing better to do.

Ok, now to the pickup parties. In the last while, every pickup party that I seem to get invited to suffer from this, and to make it worse, I dont think i break 2k and hour, so you take 1.5 hours to get to camp to fight for 2 hours and get 3-4k xp.

I remember lvling my first job and seemed to get to camp fast, 3.5 and hour was the minimum you would expect to get.

What happen to the skill and respect of other players, seems the players are getting lazier, crappier and just plain suck on every level.

But the biggest thing is the complete lack of respect for other peoples time, that just really pisses me off.

I wish i had the time to set party, seems thats where all the good players are, cause no one wants the ones that pickup party.

Is this just me or is anyone else seeing this downward trend.

/rant off.

Add this to your list...

After you finally get everyone settled, sorted out and get to camp and start fighting, about 4-5 fights in somone comes up with 'Guys just a couple more and I have to go. Start looking for a replacement.'

Yeah, its annoying, why the BST will be getting attention next - no more dealing with it for a while.

I believe that is one of the main reasons I play bst now...very little prep time to start xping and the flexibility to start and end my session when I desire. I'm bst66 atm and while I try to find a bst party to join/start when I start my xp session, if I cannot I will just solo until my session is over.

There are some misconceptions that soloing bst pickup good experience but I can tell you I usually average 2k xp/hour when I solo. The best rate I have ever obtained solo was 3k xp/hour in ifrit cauldron off bombs.

A decent bst party can easily pickup 4k+ xp/hour <--- main reason why many bst leave the solitary path behind and teamup at later levels.

One big reason I picked up bst too.

Now that I revived my rdm, still prefer to duo/trio/pt with bsts. Seriously going for rdm/bst too(see my sig).

Yeah I received lots of "Are you crazy? 0_0" comment, but hey least there's not much waiting, & in bst pt ppl can come & go w/o breaking the team.

That's why I try to party with friends. At least no matter what we are having fun and if it takes awhile to get started, so be it. I also have confidence in the people that usually we can continue fighting if one member is afk or we are one member short. In fact, the party I hit 75 with in the range started as 6 and one of our members dced and never got back on. We continued as 5 for the rest of the night and had no problems.

The mission thing drives me insane, especially when I'm helping people with a mission I don't need. I've actually stopped helping with certain missions for this very reason.

How 'bout people who quit the game, only to return to it a month later?

That grinds me to no end. ^_^
