Keep getting D/C'edFollow

I was just wondering if anyone was having problems d/c'ing when you go through certain zones. (I'm on ps2 by the way). The thing that I'm having trouble with is when I go through zones such as(port-bastok to bastok markets, or when I get on the airship for kazham). When I go through these zones it goes to the loading area for like 3 mins and then an Error Code: 3001 comes up. Then I have to shut down my system or I won't be able to get back on. So far I have re-installed FFXI into my system 6 times. Now, I talked to a tech person and he told me to forward ports on my pc for my ps2. I did that (I'm pretty sure I did it right) but I'm still having this BS problem. It's really getting annoying that I keep getting d/c. I even try to stay away from those zones so I don't get d/c......Pretty bad when I know about 15 zones I'm afraid of because of being d/c. I thank anyone who can give me some light on this situation. That happened to me in the best party I'd gotten in 3 weeks. 2 rangers, PLD, WHM, RDM, WAR(me). I disconnected in the zone between wes and east altepa. Couldn't recconnect for 9 hours. T.T

Alright, I'd suggest calling the help desk for FFXI. They know how to do this exactly, although it's been working OK for me.
