M PLAYER "Mno" IS A SCUMBAGFollow

Mno (taru BLM) was helping me out last night, we were skillin together, we were chatting, finding coffers, etc and he was pretty nice. he gained my trust to borrow my Emperor Hairpin for a bit, and the minute he got it, he fake DC out and i dont talk to him for several hours.

I get up early in the AM. He in online, in bastok port, heading to onzozo. i talk to him askin him where my pin is, he acts like he has no idea, and blames his big brother, who he claims was using the account, but they sound the same to me.

anyway, if anyone knows this "Mno" person, please talk some sense into them, because I just cant believe someone would do this, until then, I will continue to hunt them down and make their online experience a living hell until they admit it and return my hairpin. game on.

SO if you see this person, PLEASE warn anybody who is with them, and DO NOT TRUST them!! type /slap if you see them or something...they are evil and full of sht

It amazes me how willing people are to part with things in game that if the circumstance were identical IRL, they would never even consider.

I just met this guy,and he's really cool, and asked to borrow my Ferrari, so of course I let him have it. I mean, I was hanging with him, talking, for like 2 whole hours! Of course I trusted him!

Hasn't anyone ever heard of a confindence game? Or more simply, a "con"?

There are people I have known in game for a YEAR, and I still don't loan them things. Why? Because that way I never have to worry about how I would feel if that person "lost" it.

Though I will admit, I am seeing and hearing more and more things like this all the time. Seems that people have discovered that there are a lot of suckers and easy marks in this game and they are preying on them. Heck, the EULA says you can. After all, it washes SE's proverbial hands of any responsibilty or obligations when it happens. Disputes between users are to be settled by users.

Rather crappy when it happens to you though.

lesson learned: Never let anyone use any of your gear that is worth more then 20k period end of lesson.

there is only one person i will trust my gear to...thats my little brother Firewolf aka Das Wolf. Be more careful about that kind of stuff.

Instead of buy one, go camp one, save yourself 800k....Since you have a ranger/thf it would be cake to get another one.

um, i know your just trying to make a point, but theres a big difference between loaning someone a 3 hundred thousand dollar sports car, and an item in a game. i dont even let people use my computer. but I thought this guy was nice enough, and decided i would take a chance on humanity....bad decision i guess.

Btw, Mno was one of my linkshell members in game GFs... and yesterday he lent her his ALeaping boots.. then she stole 'em <.<... Exactly why i'm sceptical of lending things to people I dun know in RL.
