didn't spend all that much, crafts paid for themselves, Leather for starter and paid for the rest.

i had leather 100 for over a year, everything was cheap back then and amemit mantle was extremely profitable. Making money isn't that hard for a player that know what they are doing. Don't just assume everyone rich = IGE, I worked hard for my 1st craft.

WOW CONGRATULATIONS! My goldmithing is only at 10 right now.
About how much time(for synths) and gil for materials do you think it took you to get where you are now as a goldsmith? Any advice for me on the craft?

goldsmithing alone took me about 9 months, and i think about 100~150mil spent, prices are higher now cuz gold/platinum/orichalcum ingot went up A LOT in price.
OUCH! I don't know how long it will take me to do this at that much (I also intend to get two dynamis items throughout the course of my FFXI life so I will be using gil like a madman). Do you get better results if you goldsmith synth as a THF or RNG or any certain job?

i don't think job affects craft at all.......
Oh good! When I first started crafting I was told a RNG would have better synth results than my THF. Thank you for clearing away that myth.^^
