About six months ago I decided that FFXI was sucking too much time from my life and I needed to be done with it. And to ensure that I wouldn't get sucked back in, I deleted my character and said I was done. But as you all can understand, I started to miss it a lot and wishing for a way to get back into the game without having to start out fresh. Now June 7 is on the horizon and I have my wish. So I'll be back on Ragnarok and ready to explore again.
Of course before I deleted my character, I gave away almost all of my sweet gear to some friends (and the good MNK gear isn't easy to get). So I'll be back, naked and penniless. I'm not going to expect my friends to hand back the gear - if they are even still on - or be looking for handouts. I know how the game works, and I'll just be doing a lot of farming to start.
I'll be looking for a new LS too. If I remember correctly, I was a 48 mnk/24 war before I killed him. Name is Solus. See you all soon.

Welcome back, I know what you mean, I quit and did the stuff you did after bazaaring everything I had for 1 gil. However I came back before the 3 months were up when they terminate a character. Thankfully I hadn't discarded all of my belongings, I still had silk threads, which I sold immediately to make some gil and get my gear.

Yeah, hopefully I have something left in my Mog House to get me on my feet again. I'll figure it out either way. It will just be good to be back.

And thanks for the LS offers. I'm hoping to hook up with a good LS this time. My last LS just liked to BS the entire time and it was mostly filled with people asking for things - not for help, but money, etc. It will be nice to be with a group that likes to help each other and do some things together.
