Watching a taru bard provoke fafnir when it's behind him is fun.

If you're going to bot something, don't make it blindingly obvious.

I know a few people in Zen and I don't know where you gain your information but there are few to no gil buyers in the ls. Also, people assume about everyone high level with tons of nice gear are gil sellers but I know of a few that actually (gasp inserted here for effect) worked and did ks30 runs and stuff to gain the gil for their gear. Yes I know people spending like 50m in one day on misc stuff could be a gil buyer but people accuse people in almost every HNM ls of gil buying and most of them hold weekly events where groups go to do things like scorp ks fights and walk away with 500k or more depending on the runs and drops. Also, recently a friend and the HNM ls went on kirin runs (like 3 or 4 kirin maybe a few more fights in a night) and walked away with like 10m in drops which was distributed and almost everyone that attended got like 400k or something just killing kirin a handful of times and even then they weren't kizunas or zenmetsu and I know that zen tends to do quite a bit of action when they know the ToD of the HNM and stuff. End game tends to give you nothing better to do than merit points and HNM hunt...and if you are doing gods weekly like almost every HNM ls, then it's really not that hard to eventually work your way up and have the "uber pwnage" gear that people claim only gil buyers can obtain. Atleast that's my view on the subject.

And just a little side question...I notice your sig says your character is on Shiva...do you personally have a high level character on Ragnarok or do you go off of what 3rd or 4th hand information that is said by fellow ls members that heard from another friend that plays on ragnarok who knows a person that knows people in either ls? Not being much of a smart ***...I'm just asking.

Zenmetsu doesn't really have the gil buyer image last I checked, Acid. o_O It has other images, though the people I know well are generally decent people despite it. o_o

And ya that gil buyer assumption on if someone gets nice stuff is silly. XD It usually takes a bit of patience and a lot of luck. Some stuff you can get from an HNM LS. Plus from one bc30... I once got over 3mil ^^;;;

To be honest, I just don't pay attention to the supposed reputations of HNM LS. Indeed, usually they're comprised of like-minded people, but when something questionable happens it's usually the actions of one person and I'm not one to judge a whole group based on a single individual.

Personally, I think it would be nice if there was some way for all of the North American HNM LS to peacefully co-exist, without any bickering or trash talking. Just go in there and play a fair game. *shrug*

Amusing story, a couple days ago I was in an EXP party that ranged 73-75. We were just casually talking about HNMs and such, and our little JP Tarutaru mentioned that he had killed Vrtra. One member asked, which LS did you do that with? He replied "This one" so naturally I checked him to see what it was called. AlliedForces, I believe was the name. I thought that was a pretty cool name, considering JP HNM LS usually have......different.....names. So I ask, AlliedForces, huh? Is that JP only or JP/NA/EU/etc? The reply, like I even had to ask... JP Only.

What the hell kind of AlliedForces are JP Only. O_o Just a stupid story I thought I'd share.

Anyways, back to the topic at hand--- I don't know how Solstice is percieved by the others, but I can honestly say that it's a group of really nice players who are just having fun and enjoy a good challenge. Right now we are primarily Tu'Lia based in my opinion, but we have are now successful with Dynamis as well as a few ground HNMs. I'm not saying we're not ambitious or anything like that. Solstice is really just a lot of fun. ^_^

Ya, alliedforces would prolly be the 2 allied JP HNM LS'. See, JPs can work together. Why can't we? XD

Anyway. Solstice I honestly haven't heard much on. I know some very nice people in it, but I don't know any public reputation if there is any. Generally its a good thing if an LS doesn't have a public rep though. XD It means nobody has anything bad to say about your members. >_> Generally if you are well known there are people who will speak ill of you... whether you're good or not. @_x

Nice thread, hnmls story is funny lol.

This will come handy since i'm looking for a new hnmls, i have been away from the game for 5 month and now most of my friends stopped playing @_@.

I knew a couple of other small hnmls like Itacha, that 5 month ago was trying to grow into something bigger.

My advice is from personal experience: just go where your friends are. Rumours / whatever don't matter all that much. XD In the longterm: friends are what keep us in this game and doing things. Joining an LS for items or experience will have you quit when you're done that.
Joining an LS for friends... well, that'll keep you going for a long time. ^^

Don't use the list to judge where to join. XD Its all just what the general public views the LS' as. Doesn't mean you won't have fun in it just cause they're seen as the bad boys or whatever. ^^

Well i'd like to, but all the friends that i have in game (that did not quit) are mostly low/medium level and really slow expers, i like very much to hang w them but sometimes i miss the high level action.

We'll see what the future may bring ^_^
