Ragnarok AccomplishmentsFollow

Ragnarok! We need some love! I've seen many threads about "Scumbags" and "Player WARNING" and "What Happened Ragnarok?" recently... How about we make a change? Instead, let's make a thread where you, the Ragnarok player, tell this kitty cat about those accomplishments that you are most proud of! From completing Rank missions, defeating Maat, obtaining sky, reaching a certain level, crafting skills, Genkais, etc.

My Accomplishment: Sticking with the first job I ever chose. A job that I will always love. Staying with this job without saying "Hey I will level XXX instead because it will be easier to get to 75!" I am also very proud of my linkshell. I love PalantiriX to death. There's so many friendly people, that sometimes I catch myself logging in and talking to them for a while.

Yes, there are those days where I feel like I did absolutely nothing in game. I felt like I wasted a whole lot of time. However, I keep coming back to FFXI. I know a friend of mine quit because he lost interest in the game. I won't! At least not yet. There's so much to do and so much to see. So many missions, quests, goals, friends to help and talk to. Make this a thread about your completed goals, something that just made you so happy you just have to share it! I'm listening, Ragnarok. I'm interested to see the things that just makes you come back to Vana'Diel.

Anywho, I consider it an acomplishment that I'm not in any rush to get anything particurally done. Sure, I'd like 75, and so on, but I can go a month without getting anything done actually. Farm a bit, craft a bit, talk too much, without ever putting up my seek tag.

I'm also proud of the friends I've picked up along the way, and how, even if I might leave a LS, I still have them on my friends list, and I still drop them a line here and there. All of my best friends in the game are people from linkshells gone by. People like Blagoce, destiney, Mirror, Liadel, Drkyugi and others, I always, ALWAYS enjoy talking to them, sending a friendly /wave as I pass them in jeuno, or whatever. And seeing them on a new LS... like when I joined PalantiriX, I saw Drkyugi there, and liadel, and I'm like "hey!", and they all greet me, and others from parties or whatever say "Fish! I remember you!". The other day I saw someone the other day who greeted me who I did my kazham key quest with when I was a lowly 25 MNK... We were both higher level now, but it was just awesome to see that I left an impression..

Im not even sure where Im going with this anymore.. I just love this game, and I love the people on this server who strive to make it great and not just point fingers and yell about gil sellers.

It was an honor being there when you hit 75. You deserved it.

My biggest accomplishment recently has to be the evoker's ring. Fenrir's was the last item I needed and instead of going the easy, all smn route, I decided to go in with some friends who needed the fight as well. It took us quite a few tries, but once we worked out the system for our party setup, we were able to put him down pretty easy. Last night, I turned in all of the items and am anxiously waiting until I can log on tonight to pick up the ring I've been drooling over for what seems like the past 60 levels.

For me it would have to be finally defeating the Wrecker in the Spire of Holla.

After many many weeks of losing to him, our linkshell was really edgy and couldn't get him off our minds. His tactics were so simple, yet we always fell in defeat at the last blow.

Then that one fateful day on our 11th try, an Eagle Eye shot sealed his fate, we broke the time record, and were in the meadows! \(^_^)/

The next day we beat him again for good measure.

I personaly think this game isn't ever gonna stop us for making accomplishments.


This topic made me go way back in time and I started thinking of how hard it was for me to get my sj items.
The apron and the worm were fairly easy , but god did I had a hard time getting that skull.
I was a newb and knew noone then ,so for me this was realy an enourmous accomplishment at the time.
Or do you citizens of windurst have forgotten how much of a thrill it gave you when you hit lvl 10 for the first time and had to get from windy to selby?
Dam you Seahorror , you and I have unfinished bussines.

But throughout my year of playing this game, there are far to much accomplishments to post em all here.
The most recent that came in mind , are the AF quests , so any of you who have done em for there job admit it : you feel damned pride when you obtain those AF pieces (still need to kill my AF3 tiger hehe).

But by far most the biggest accomplishment for me ,is the privilege(sp) of being a part of my LS (sea sig).
Each and evryone in there I consider my friend .
Whitout em, it wouldn't be possible for me to play this game.

Well, it wasn't all that recent, but my last accomplishments were:


-Achieving level 60 DRG (I delevelled to 59 in the same party and got it back up again ^^; )
-Obtaining Assault earring
-Obtaining Merman's gorget

My fiancee completed G3 for me (<3) so I can't consider that my own accomplishment.

My greatest accomplishment:

Taking WAR to 53 without ever touching NIN sub.

Not quitting after 8 runs in Eldieme Necropolis to get my coffer key.

Being able to walk through Jeuno and get at least one /wave.

My greatest privelage:

Being able to know many of the greates playters of FFXI I've ever known - in how they handle their characters, and their own personality(Be at peace Robbeh...). I'd love to name them all but I can't! There's just too many! XD

Anyone in either Dojang or PalantiriX is worthy of the utmost respect from me =P

-- *** Something I'm really proud of is my brother. It's fun that my siblings play. However my brother was a BLM70 in Garuda and it didn't look like he and I would ever play in the same server. It wasn't until recently that he migrated to Ragnarok. Hey, this wasn't an accomplishment or anything, but it's something I am very proud of. My gameplay is a lot more fun because my family is there.

This week I finally got my first piece of relic. :) Summoner's Bracers can now be found on my lil old Mithra. Needless to say, this has made me beyond happy. My one dream in the game is to have my character decked out in full relic.
