i hear that u start out with nothing but af spells and synthing. but no gil gear i had to get partys for to get and no $$$? man think this is worth coming back to since gil sellers are everywhere?
For me:
I've been gone for over 2 months & planning to go back(after I fix myself a new pc). Main reason I wanta return's not really the game itself(its a great game, but there ARE same if not better ones out there), but the friends I have made.
Sure, I can make new friends anywhere, but would hate to leave old friends behind. The day I really quit FF11 will be the day all my buddys are gone or we move to a new game as a group.

Agreed. There is something about the friends I've gained here that is simply missing from other games. I really can't figure it out.
I cancelled my account and started playing the less time-consuming WoW because my grades were unacceptable. Now that school is nearly over, I'm back. And I'll manage my time better from now on so I won't have to stop playing for an extended time.
So yes, until FFXI is shut down (heaven forbid), or we as a group decide to move on to a different game (unless it's Matrix Online ^_^), I will stay right here.

hehe, might be sooner than u think.... server is freakin out again... this time its all of FFXI... something buggered is goin on... and it doesnt smell purty...
