Earlier the server crashed on a lot of people so s-e decided to schedule an emergency maintenance. It crashed before that maintenance was supposed to start and once it was done everything was fine for about 20 minutes and it died once again. Other servers obviously are following the same action...hopefully nothing major...I got an ice brand and long boomerang just before the latest crash and I'd not like to lose them since I like getting new items off mobs I rarely fight.
According to the times in this thread, it seems the server has been down for 5 hours now. That is ridiculous.
The server knows i'm working today! On a saturday!!! and can't play...
...and no i didn't sabotage our server...

Managed to log in at about 6:40am CST, up for 10 min then BAM down again.

Server kicked me at 5k tnl yesterday evening, when server went up hours later i started another pt. The server crashed again when about to go to xp spot. And this morning I'm about to go xp with a 4 RNG pt and... there we go again.

Aye, was my first long weekend at the end of a long shift and i had NO plans at all.
My hand was even feeling ok after some muscle problems that i have...
but nope...fate has decided to go against me once more and keep me out of game all night and half the day.
I wouldnt mind if it was a bright sunny day outside as id be under a tree with a beer and my dog in the park, but its london and it aint bright and it aint sunny lol.
i guess its another day of horror movies, book reading and playing FF:Tactics advance on my DS..at least i wont have to wait for a party on that :(

Well you guys aren't alone on being left out during a Maintenance. Heck, I remember I was pretty irked because an hour after I came home from school, there was a 3 hour Maintenance. -.-; And I live in America.
I bet the Japanese players would complain about the same thing when a Maintenance is scheduled for their primetime. Hahaha XD

While I really do feel glad that this hasn't happened so badly in my memory, that built-up reservoir of goodwill is draining fast. I was OK with the outage alllll last night, a prime-time Friday gaming time ... but I was very confident that we'd be ONline again this morning. Nope: Ragnarok and ONLY Ragnarok is down for the proverbial count.
My patience is wearing thin.
Of course, this couldn't happen starting on, say, a MONDAY :P

I think that i brought the curse of my Asherons Call 2 server with me...
I was on a server called Dawnsong and we named it Downsolong after a year.
Now over a year in Ragnarok things are not as bad as they have been in other MMORPGs that i have played...just a little blown away by all the AH and City lag issues and now last night and today.

Man , even though I'm from Alexander, lol that kinda sucks, its been down for how long now?? But, its not like its going to hurt anyone to do something else for a change =P
Regardless of how long its down now, s-e has always had an excellent reputation and has done a stellar job upkeeping their servers. We should cut them some slack.
