Evil Armor, Do you have it?Follow

Let me start off by saying I have been away from FFXI for almost 2 whole weeks. Lots of people know me and I just wanted to say I will be back. Now for the story. It started with a BCNM60, i got a damascus ingot and it sells for 1.6mil. The damn thing sold in about 3hours. Being a 75 paladin, i had my eye on a haubergeon for a long time. So i went to the strip mall outside of lower jeuno and purchased the armor. As soon as i put the armor on i d/c. Ok, Ok no big deal. I reboot. I get back to jeuno and my mog house, and i start to smell some smoke. WTH? smoke? I go down stairs in my home and nothing. I come back up and my damn PS2 is smoking. LMaO i had to unplugg the damn thing. My HDD burnt out. Being the fiend that i am I went out to buy another the next day. I get to the Game Stop and their all sold out. They check other stores close by and nothing. WTH? I went to Toys R' Us and they had 1 returned one in stock. Lucky me half price!!! I get home load everything, took so long. The next day i go to connect and my DSL box is off.WTH? I called verizon and they can ship out another DSL box in 3-5 days. WTH?
Well that leads me to this post. Word to paladins, do not buy this armor!!! I repeat do not buy this armor its EVIL!!!

P.S. Will my char information still be there when i long back on?

Fortunately for you, all of your character information is stored on their servers. You will lose your settings and your macros, which sort of sucks, but unless if you somehow corrupted your character during a bad disconnect, at least your character and items should be in tact when you return.
