Just wanted to let everyone know I had a chat with a level 69 (i think) thief named Shadowcat (im 99% sure thats it. but 1% possibility it was Shadowkitty) they had shehie up for 5k each, I inquired and was told they were trying to scam people. That hopefully some noob would think that it was for an entire stack, and then buy it.

I asked why they thought scamming was ok, and got cussed at ; ;.

Just a warning. Watch out on stacks of goods thjat look cheap but arnt ; ;.

I'm not sure why ppl call them "Scammer". for me, I rather call them "over-price sellers".

Think about it. A scam is when someone pull a fast one on you. you thought you are getting something for yourself, but you can't see the item or the price or you are misled, example fly wing and VE, etc.

But shihei and arrows on the other hand, prices are there, beside the item itself, really hard to miss, if you tell me.

I think of it as them trying to scam new players or just people in a hurry. People forget that it's actually 5k per shihei and think that it's 5k for a whole stack.

Now what would be harder to avoid is if someone had a whole bunch of fire clusters in their bazaar with 1 or 2 stacks of fire crystals all priced the same.

It's not a scam, he/she tries to sell at a price that is way too high. That there are people who will actually pay that price is not the fault of the seller.
Sure, it's not the most clean way to sell stuff, but buying up all the noble beds and selling them for like 25k more isn't that nice either..

I have start a thread about this few month ago. I feel that it is more of scam due to the fact that a stack of sheshie sell for 6k-7k. These people trying to confuse newbie to make them think, they are selling as a stack of 5k and not 1 sheshie for 5k.

If they just want to overprice an item, they could put like 200 per sheshie which is quite insane to pay for 200 each.

I don't people actually pay the price notice that it is a 5k per sheshi. By buying 1 stack the total cost will be 0.5mil !

It's amazing that people will buy anything in bazaars. I'll often put things in my bazaar for an high price that I don't want to end up tossing. One time I did this by setting starter armor for 3k while I was bazaaring selling stuff at a more reasonable price. I came back and everything was sold, even the overpriced armor. :|

People just need to pay more attention to what they are doing.

I've seen this also, but i'm still debating, I honestly have 2 opinions on this topic, One being that it is in fact, scamming, <aka pulling a fast one over> if it's the case of the person unknowingly thinking bazaars sell shihei as stacks or anything for the matter.
But on the other hand, I feel that selling anything, shihei included, stackables or not, overpriced is exceptable...

Lol, honestly cant convince myself which side i stand on:(

It's hard to take a side when you think about it because they really aren't doing anything wrong. If they have it as a stack when you go to buy it you choose how many you want. People need to pay more attention to what they do and take more responsibility for not being taken in by someone trying to make a quick buck. And you can't even say it's because they are new. Ninja is an advanced job, which means they have played long enough to get to level 30 on another job and long enough to get to the point on Ninja that they need this tool. They really should have learned the way the bazaar and ah systems work by now.

The Shihei scam is one thing, but what about these morons like Keidas who advertise selling a Venemous Claw in their search comment for like 4.4 million and in their bazaar is a regular ol' Scorpion Claw... for 4.4 million. Granted, you'd have to be a pretty huge idiot to fall for this scam, but I can't believe a guy like Keidas would try to pull something like this and not even do it on a mule...
