I had an idea for a new job that I know a few people would like:

Necromancer

Job Abilities:

LV.1 Death Resist Recast: 2 hours
User's HP cannot go below 1 hp for 30 seconds

LV.5 Hound Summon Duration: 20 mins Recast: 20 mins
Summons a hound to fight

LV.18 Ghost Summon Duration: 15 mins Recast: 20 mins
Summons a Ghost to fight

LV.27 Skeleton Summon Duration:15 mins Recast: 20 mins
Summons a Skeleton to fight

LV.40 Weapon Summon Duration: 10 mins Recast: 20 mins
Summons a Weapon to fight

LV.50 Lich Summon Duration: 5 mins Recast: 90 mins
Summons a Lich to fight


Job Traits:
Lv.5 Resist Petrify
Lv.20 Subtle Death ***
Lv.30 Resist Petrify II

Spells:
Blind lv.5 Blinds the enemy, reducing his attack hit percentage.
Bio lv.10 Does minor damage over time and decreases target's attack.
Drain lv.12 Steals HP from the enemy. Cannot be used against the undead
Sleep lv.20 Puts the target to sleep
Raise lv.25 Raises the target from dead and restores 25% of lost experience.
Aspir lv.25 Absorbs mana points from the enemy and adds them to yours
Sleepga lv.30 Puts to sleep all enemies within area of effect.
Bio 2 lv.45 Does damage over time and decreases the target's attack
Doom lv.55 Target's HP drops to 0 after 3 turns
Death lv.60 Target's HP drops to 0 immediately. May miss.

This job works kind of like a SMN BST combo. To call the Undead and keep them out requires MP, HOWEVER once the duration/MP is out, the undead turns on you and you have to fight it. Just to give this job a little danger.

Liches are skeletons.
No one would give Death to players... that'd be too easy :P
I don't like the idea of any new jobs at all.

I'll give you that it's a well thought out idea, but it sounds a bit more like a Summoner/Black Mage.

And the last two spells, Doom and Death, they are just over-powered, it would make the game unbalanced. There's no other job that once you get to a high level that has some super-powerful spell/skill waiting, they wouldn't change that.

The two hour is a good idea, though.

The rest of the abilities are just summons, though.
There's already a job that does that. Summoner.

Actually, after a second look, this class has spells from many jobs.
Raise? What's a magician of death doing raising people?

I give you a 8/10 for the idea.

But I highly doubt SE will put out any new jobs, and if they do, it will be something that's appeared in a prior game.
(eg: Juggler, Blue Mage, or Engineer.)
