hello. we are a CoP static and trying to do Ouryu wyvern bcnm atm.
unfortunately we realized that with our current CoP job set up it is almost impossible to win that fight (and yes, we tried to keep it down on the ground by using mistmelts a lot).

if you are a smn (have a lvl 50 smn job), you are currently on the Ouryu bcnm mission and you are interested in joining our CoP set for this bcnm please send a /tell ingame to either Kakyo or Gentaro or post here.

Which mission number is this? I can't remember which one I'm on, I'll check tonight. Currently a 66 smn.

the Ouryu-BC is the Number CoP 4-2 (it's the first lv50-cap BC)

Smn makes this BC, a bit easier. But we beat it without one

PT setup:
War/nin
Mnk/war
Rng/nin
Rdm/whm
Blm/whm
Brd/whm

The things we found out are, you need to get it to use its 2hr fast and DO NOT LOSE HATE. Our War 2hr at start, then followed by me, sad to say, Ouryu 2hr too, thus, my Hundred fist became pokes (--;. Mages and Rng attack, trying no to get hate, so the War can kite it. Worked.

Hi-pots and Mp drink is almost a must for this one (--;

But the most important is kiter do not lose HATE. Once the hate is lost, Ouryu did all sorts of AOE stuff on us. We only beat it after 4 tries.
