Thats what im looking for. I have a LS or two right now, but not many crafters are part of it. Is there a linkshell on rag with mainly crafters that help each other get items and discuss crafting issues? if so, pearl me up.
P.S.-At the moment I do not have any high craft levels on this character, but I do craft alot.

Actually... sorry for the double post but...
A while ago, a RL friend of mine made a linkshell for a couple of our friends, but they no longer play T_T. So, I asked him if I could turn our old LS into a crafting one and he said it was all right.
So... would you like to start up a crafting LS with me? We don't have to pay for a new LS since we can use our old one... but the thing is is that I don't have the clam. However, I do have a pearl sack, so we can just go with that.

Sounds like an interesting project.
I would think Trading Crafting Items within This Crafting LS would be a nice things, I'm sure there are crafters out there getting misc. items that they don't need when they Exp lvling, Farming, and other sorts and end up pawning it off for some small cash, selling to NPC for nothing or sit on it and make a stack someday.
Now its a matter of how many crafters are interested in joining.
The more diverce in different craftings the better.
That way all the Drops can be traded to one another.
I would think Trading Crafting Items within This Crafting LS would be a nice things, I'm sure there are crafters out there getting misc. items that they don't need when they Exp lvling, Farming, and other sorts and end up pawning it off for some small cash, selling to NPC for nothing or sit on it and make a stack someday.
Now its a matter of how many crafters are interested in joining.

That way all the Drops can be traded to one another.
We decided pretty much to form a new LinkShell. Formed of crafters only, with a few basic prinicples:
*To have crafters from all cities to easily obtain guild materiels cheaply
*To have a community/group that shares and trades/barters
*To trade/give pointless mob drops & unneeded items
*Sharing info on regular synthing,desynthing and HQ'ing
*To be eventually well-known and renowned as a go-to group for people to make special orders(money,$,money)
So basically, sharing is a VERY key element,giving something you dont need and receiving things other people dont need. I know many people have LS's already, but this one will have a goal and purpose. I know i'm a knob on these boards but i'm ready for the throw-down. I do not know if you have a Bone crafter yet but if not and you want one. My bone crafting is at lvl 14 now and i am working on it everyday. Send me a message in game and I will meet up with one of you to join in as well.
It has been created and is called 'All Creation' after yuffies level 4 limit break ;). Send a tell to Tenjuro or Saeki in game, the only sack holders. it was just created today.
Definitely, we are looking to have several crafters from each craft to increase productivity. low level crafters are welcome. Fisher-people are welcome. mutiple craft craftsmen are welcome. i invite any crafters from all cities to join, the more the merrier.

I'd love to join im doing alchemy right now. I just started it 2 weeks ago and i hit 73 today. My main character is Xodusmage but im crafting on one of my 3 mules named Xodus, becuase i plan on doing gold on main some day. Ill send you or someone who has sack a tell tomorow.

People from our server and LS members can see what the LS can offer.
Listing out the LS members with their Craft Levels can be a great benifit. (With the LS Member's approval)
- people would know who to talk to with which crafting.

- Since everyone would be busy with the regualr LS we need a list
to see who is actually in this LS.
- When doing the Guild Points Torment, we end up with HQ Items.

yes,i was thinking of doing a web page for the LS,at the moment im kind of incapacitated(sp). A simple page just like you say. And use a Javascript app to for each LS member to log into and write what they are looking for. I have some Web page design experience and know a little java. BUT NO FORUMS. I hate all every little itty bitty site has a php forum,alot of things can be achieved by JS and its easier to use & simpler.
The Sack holders are Tenjuro and saeki.

Now there are many negative feed back in that post since it is a double sided sword that can hurt both sides.
Now the some of the things I have found that maybe a positive thing that can be a good asset to this LS is making a contract,
(Join up, Team up, make a Pact, co-operate, etc) with the H.E.L.M. Group.
Now it might be possible to do the core thing of this LS to "Share" and "trade" but also giving "Discounts" to buy
certain materials to each other could also be a good thing.
(helpes Accelerate Crafting, and the Cash Flow for both Parties)
There are many non-Eng, non-Jpn, (mostly Chinese I think) people who camp away at all H.E.L.M. Points. If any way a Co-Operation can be made with these ppl, (like Dis-Counting each Other, or other means) it could work out (this is theory).
If this is a not a viable recommendation please ignore it.

Hm... you know, I don't really think dominating the market (if you mean the AH) is really a realistic thing... There are way too many people playing the game and... well, it's kinda hard to regulate something like that unless you're constantly watching the AH.
...I've been in the game for over a year and I have yet to know what H.E.L.M is. XD;;; Looks like I have some research to do.

I only just pointed out that there are a LSs out there are doing.
I am only mentioning a positive point that they did to make it work, and is by to have ppl in the LS to Do H.E.L.M.

My current levels are 68 Woodworking, 60 Alchemy, 52 Cooking and a high level of fishing, with all other crafts being in the low range.
Right now I need to work on Kilo Pumps, which require the following: Bamboo Stick, Chestnut Lumber, Coeurl Whisker x2, Carbon Fiber, Animal Glue, and a Water Cluster.
But if I can get Parchment for cheap from anyone (someone with a good Desynthesis Moghancement or high Leatherworking) I'd gladly take Folding Screens to 72.

Ahh all right. I re-read your post and I see what you're saying; sorry about that. >_< I guess it was more of a response to the beginning part of that link you gave us.
But concerning having people in the LS do H.E.L.M... yes, that sounds like a good idea. But asking others who are doing H.E.L.M... well, I suppose that could work too but... hm, I'm not really sure. It'd be great if they did discounts for us, but if they continue to charge high prices at the AH (if they're doing that, that is)... well, I dunno, it seems kinda unfair to everyone else ^^'.
But, how would you go about asking?
I have also joined it. I Dinged lvl 15 Bone crafting yesterda so I am looking for some in-expensive beetle jaws and sheep teeth. With the sheep teeth I can get to lvl 17 on bone rings then I will move onto Beetle rings till I hit lvl 24. From there I need to figure out where I want to go...

Like I mentioned before in my previous post, if its not considerable, please ignore it. All you need to do is negotiation, to meet a level of understanding that both parties can agree apon, Saving a few gill on taxes here and there, and the fast sales to free up AH slots. There are many benifits to the H.E.L.M. people, and for the LS it would mean faster and efficent amount of resources.
If in this case that it is considered not fair to other players. I would see it as a Efficency in the system where the economy can go faster for both sides, the more efficent the system can be, money flows, Skills goes up etc. Basically meaning less wait time.
I tried contacting the LS sack holders but since they appear to be busy in a Pt, I have yet not to join the LS, (Kinda funny in a sence, LOL).

I'm coming back to ffxi hopefully this week and would be very interested in joining all creation.
Craft levels are ww 65 alchemy 50 smithing 20 gold near 20 cant remember and leather and cloth 10ish.
