Windurst Tacos, potential alternative to Yellow CurryFollow

#1 Mar 03 2005 at 1:42 PM Rating: Decent
Hey everyone, don't know how many of you keep up with the latest recipes but there is a new food item that may be worth noting.

Windurst Tacos, to the best of my knowledge at the moment, give the following stats:
AGI + 5
VIT - 1
MP + 20
HP regen while healing +3
MP regen while healing +1
Some ranged accuracy bonus, though no exact number yet.

This food stacks to 12 and is relatively cheap to make. I seemed to have no problem and my cooking is currently at lvl 53. But before I start churning them out, I was wondering if there would be a market for them? I'm thinking that this could be an alternative to Yellow Curry for rangers. Each taco lasts for 30 minutes rather than the 3 hours the curry lasts. So if a party randomly disbands, it won't hurt the wallet as much to let the food effect waste away. The additional MP is weird, yeah... but the other stats are nice for rangers ^^ Except for the -1 VIT...

It actually, depending on the price, seems like it might be decent WHM food. Not the best, but in a crunch it would do fine.

It's accuracy bonuses are lower than sushi (apparently, theres no way of knowing for sure), and offers no ranged attack bonuses like curry does.

na, i don't think any rng would use this, there is no atk, no way that this could replace curry, maybe at very early lvls, that is if there really IS some r.acc bonus, but thats about it, i use HQ bison steak myself, but no, this can't replace curry

Well I never said it would replace curry, I was just suggesting that it could be an alternative to the younger rangers out there who aren't loaded with gil, though that's a bit of an oxymoron considering all the gil you need to have in the first place, lol. Obviously, the high level rangers would have no use for this food. *shrugs* I dunno, just thought I'd mention it to see the reactions... so far they've mostly been negative so I guess I won't be making these anytime soon, lol
