Well not really, but I'm banned for three days for being one.

On sunday I jokingly did a shout in jeuno.

/sh Selling Kraken Club, $100 USD via paypal to Ragnarokpercie@hotmail.com

*later that day in GM Jail*

GM tells me i've been found guilty of gil selling.

(Those of you who know me should have lol'd right there)

I was pretty shocked at the ignorance of the GM, seeing as my gear is pretty ghetto and have all of 100k to my name. Not to mention the fact I DO NOT OWN A KRAKEN CLUB, nor have I ever touched one.

Ironic that the only reason the shout is funny is because of SE's blind-eye policy towards gil sellers, and I get a ban for it :P

Aaaaanyways, I hope some people get a laugh out of this. See you in three days.

/em braces for impending rate downs for being a gil seller

Well they can't do much against gilsellers because they don't have 100% proof who is one and who isn't. The only way they can ban them for sure is if they outright admit it, like you jokingly did.

I am very surprised that you didn't get a perma-ban though. o.O Do gilsellers also get off this easy? :/

P.S. I am glad you weren't perma-banned though. XD

I wonder if this is like that movie where that guy got sent to jail for murdering a girl, but he never did. Then when he got out he could kill her because he already did the punisment for the crime. So I guess now I get to sell gil once. :p

Perc, another case of your misunderstood sense of humor kicking you in the rear. I will admit, we all got a laugh when we heard and Crafty has a special linkshell message just for you.

Probably just bad timing with the joke, when they do seem to be cracking down on it. Though I do think it could easily be proven that you aren't participating in those activities. The logs don't lie. But, from the business side of things, you were doing these shouts and they got to react. Though I think 3 days was a bit excessive.

Percie,

RE: That movie

I think the one you're talking about was called 'Double Jeopardy' - Ashley Judd goes to jail for apparently killing her husband, who wasn't dead, and was just doing an insurance scam and wanted to get with Ashleys friend. Also starred Tommy Lee Jones. So, she gets out of jail and then is legally allowed to 'wreck shop' on her crafty husbands a$$. Tommy Lee helps her with the payback.

Ouch, sucks to get suspended for a joke, heh.

Heard about it in a party the other day when one of the members said they were doing great until their WHM disappeared and ended up in Mordion, heh.

Wow an actul jail i assumed that they just banned your character log in for 3 days....wow ...SE is extreme lol
#15 Mar 03 2005 at 5:48 PM Rating: Decent
I guess I will post it but heh... This is my "answer" for letting you log on though you are in jail. It's because they let you get your rix of FF11!!!!! lol Thats why they let you on so you can just do nothing and look at the screen while fealing "ok" not to play but just to log on... heh just something I thought was funny~

Actually I couldn't even get onto POL. They actually suspend you from all services. They just take you to jail to do that.

but the important part of this post.

FREEDOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

By the way, are you allow to cast any spell in jail? I think is a good time to up some enfee/healing skill while staying in jail.

hey now that you're free do you have like a parole officer? A Galka you have to report to every two weeks or something?

Or maybe you're like Martha, can't leave your Mog House for a couple months and you have to wear a little ankle tracker thingy?

How was the food? Is it true what they say about cigarettes being like money in there? Did you meant anyone famous? Like maybe some other notorious gil sellers or maybe just a reall 'special' friend you passed the time with?

No spells allowed, or everyone would just warp away :P

It's funny how out of it some of the people were there. Someone thought Meat Mithkabobs were still popular food. HAH! No parole, they said I have a trustable face so I don't need parole. HPC was there, it was nice to see her again. She gave me some pointers on... things >.>... I didn't make any special friends... well I suppose you could count that one mithra with the shifty eyes that kept staring at me... and purrring...
