I'm almost at Level 58 and I'm still encountering lousy players. RDMs that don't keep Refresh up, Paladins that won't heal themselves, other mages that won't heal me even though I'm the only one with Raise 2, people playing for an hour then logging off without any notice...how do people get this far into the game? Christ.

It's funny you mention mages not curing you, even though you're the only one with Raise II. (i'm a whm, too so i TOTALLY understand) - it frustrates me when I'm getting pounded on and whoever(WAR/PLD,Etc) is slow to voke the mob off me, but instead of someone casting a cure on me - i'm forced to cure myself, thus creating more hate for me. Noone ever cures the White Mage. (not true, cause I've been cured before - but sometimes it FEELS that way)

The funny part about this, and I've realized this because it happened way too many times to me "Why do they care if you die, when the PLD or RDM can Raise 1 you so that you can get up and Raise II anyone else who died." - but the impression i get is that i'm the a$$hole if I get up and DON'T raise II everyone else.

UGH....the life of a WHM - don't worry..there is a light at the end of the tunnel and it's called..........

Reraise II

Lasts about an hour...and I make sure I always have it up. Takes alot of MP, but it saves my sanity. I do, though, try to cast it at convenient times so that it doesn't affect the party i'm in.

You mean you don't cast Re-raise mid Fight when you see the Pld geting Pounded? (Sarcasm) I saw a Whm do that the other day, and Warp to thier Hp right After. If they saved that MP on the Pld, it would not have been a Problem.

I'm Only a DD, but feel the Woes of the Never MP Using/Healing Pld, Sin Awful mages, and sadly, much other Evils.

It might sound Cocky, but if your Party is suffering because someone is not doing something they should be to Help the Xp (and has been asked of them Nicely by the PT) Just Disband, and save a Headache. When I am doing something Stupid, let me know, and I try to be pretty swift to Fix it :)

I have to say, the last 2 Weeks, my Bad Pt Senarios have been really low, but when it rains, it pours >.<

If an Entire PT agrees on something to Help the Party, and one Person refuses to do it for some Assinine (sp) Reason, just cut your losses, Imo.

Hell, how about you try partying with a level 30 ranger with level 16 gear and NO AMMO? According to the party (who didn't say anything until after he left, because at 1 AM in the Jungle there just isn't anyone else to invite) he had been partying with no ammo all night. What the hell? If you can't afford to play ranger, that's understandable- but don't take the god damn job to an exp party.

Fortunately the rest of the party rocked hard so we had no problem covering his obscene lack of damage. Not suprisingly, after he left you could barely tell he was gone. In fact, the guy was mistaken for a THF who was too dumb to use SATA.

Now, I'm only level 32, but it wasn't exactly easy to get there - I ask you, how the hell do they get to these levels? Im beginning to suspect that the good players are carrying these idiots through their levels. That guy in our party wasn't earning his exp, so we should have kicked him.

Basically, those players got to those levels because you handed them to them on a silver platter. Well ***** them. If you want them to quit the game and stop wasting your time, when you party with an idiot, kick him. No questions asked. I'm not going to pay 12 bucks a month to teach preschool while trying to level, and neither should you.

What Umojan has set up with his whm friend definately seem like a good idea. Either static with one or two people and fill up the party after that or make sure that you make a note of the people you party with that knows what they're doing. Then, whenever you're looking for party see if you can find these people and if they're also looking or are not busy invite them. Never be afraid to start your own party and don't be afraid to try out different party setups.

As for sucking up a Raise I......well, I've had to HP so many times that for me, lost exp means nothing anymore. However if a whm in a party gave the other members a Raise I instead of II, I would think that it would cause a bit of controversy, tempers flaring and all that :P

I got lucky that from 30-55 I was in a static (then thanks to mr buttholefirewall I was on a month hiatus till Gary at POL figured out my issue - took 4 LD calls to finally get a clue) Now I may just ditch whm (maybe get it to 62/63 so I can be more of a helperbee cus up north I still aggro stuff). After that I wanna work on BRD & DRK more. at least as drk I earn my death from my own schmuckary
