so, they're changing it up again.. but aren't giving us details >_< anyone have an idea of how banish3 will be attained or what this new WHM trait will be? hope it's nothing lame like an improvement on the lv25 hp regen trait.. anyway, they're changing the shielding system too.. no more blocking, but when the shield works you take less damage which is lame but they also say "the frequency of shield usage in battle will increase substantially with this new system. soo i take that to mean the shield will take effect more often. which could be cool.. they're nerfing third eye for SAM too, but adding something else which they didn't explain 0_o

comments? anyone know anything?

It would be need if whm got a cure potency trait, but I'm pushing my speculation to a stretch with that. I have no idea what sam might be getting.

I'm rather interested in the new changes to whm. Banish III will be fun and all but I'm more interested in the new job trait. I always wanted whm to have reraise as a job trait rather than a spell, but I don't see that happening. Whm is supposed to be the main healing class so I'm hoping they get a trait that ampilifes their strength in that area. Something that pushes them above rdm and smn as healers. Perhaps a 5% cure potency boost at lvl 45. But as long as it's usefull( Auto-Regen II? No Thanks) I'll be happy.

If whm gets autoregen II then smn should get autorefresh II. ;)

I am rather interested to see what this ability is going to be though. Hope it's something that is rather helpful to those who play the job.

For the Samurai, it would be pretty nice if they gave them a "Save TP" Trait. Much like how the Save MP trait for Blm works except for TP.

Imagine a Samurai with 300% TP, using a weapon skill and said weapon skill only uses 80 TP. Now that would be something interesting to see.

im worried..alot of the stuff they "fix" sucks.. like mining. I used to make a bit off excavating and now it just sucks :(

as far as crafts go.. they're supposed to be improving fishing a lot and from what i've read it sounds like it will actually be fun now =)

lol....fishing and fun in the same sentence...how interesting :P FIshing another skill they made SUCK but im glad they are fixing it...I spent almost 4 days straight just going from 0-3 in port windy WITH enhancements :~(

yeah..they seem to fix and add a lot of new things for certain jobs, but always forget about others. ; ; I agree, they should fix it so if a bst needs to recharm a pet that they do not lose their mob.
Also, when is the rdm going to get SOMETHING??? I know that we are uber and all, but whm, blm, and smn along with alot others get JSE. I go to the AH looking for something that can improve my performance some more, and there is nothing. I have to wait till lvl 72 for the errant stuff, and its great and all, but still, would like something that helps out some of our traits. Also, when do we get a cool new trait. I mean, come on, resist petrify?? wtf? It doesnt even really work =( Oops >.> didnt mean to rant on SE here..lol. Oh well, Hopefully the new stuff will be cool for everyone that gets one^^

oh please.. RDM needs to be nerfed. and whm rse is a joke. i say take away RDM dispel and give it to DRK or somethin..

yeah... no... so if youre fighting crabs you need a DRK to dispel? lets see

And... intstead of a RDM for dispel haste refresh and extra black magic, you want a DRK for NO refresh, VERY limited haste (WHM would need to focus on tank, so slow TP as well) and a weapon skill that would not fit in, but ya need that DRK for his dispel!

heh, most of my parties have both a RDM and a DRK in it so your entire post can be answered with a general "no."

and that was just an example of a nerf cuz RDMs are made too powerful, they can do pretty much anything in the game. yes, things should be taken away from them; it is a fact. yep, it is whether you think so or not, cuz your opinion doesn't matter this is my topic woohoo~!

funny you tried to think it it out so logically and plan out a response to something that wasn't serious. BRD can also dispel, in case you hadn't figured that out yet. n you said RDM has to "haste and do extra black magic".. no a RDM is a refresh ***** who dispels.. my banish MBs often outdamage the RDM's MB( '-')b and i usually handle hastes in my PTs unless RDM insists on it. "very limited haste because WHM needs to focus on tank"? um. especially with the sushi out now DRKs aren't missin so much and TP is not slow as long as they have haste. and often they are the only one who needs haste, maybe NIN too if you got one of those. it ain't hard for the whm to haste 2 people in their pt at the beginning of a fight. and like i said, DRK is very useful in light/dark SCs so, again you're wrong. but i'll reiterate, that wasn't THAT serious of a comment about giving DRK dispel. tho it would be cool for them.

yeh so WHM should get refresh 1 and RDMs should be given refresh 2 too. that would be cool i think :b

and they stack ^^ now cease crushing my dreams of b eing my own little refresh **** >.< You little people are supposed to be happy and welcoming me to munchkin land not crushing my tender Elvaan dreams (heh)
