With the new banning of 800 ppl i was wondering did anyone realize the missing of any gilsellers?
I know that only 800 people from 32 servers were banned but i was wondering if any of these 800 people were from our server
I saw the ls's still on the server but once again i don't know all the gilsellers

this would be a glorious time for sure. finally a chance to get my dark knight acc+ gear at decent prices and for my bro to get ranger stuff. im not sure who a lot of the gil sellers are but i thought ive heard stuff about the SandorianSons? anyone know if these guys are gil sellers?
While I'm not sure if certain people were gil sellers or not, I've noticed a lot of people who normally overcamped a particular area not in those areas.
I wouldn't count on the prices coming down anytime soon. Even with the gil sellers gone, you still got the average every day player greed to deal with and as long as people are willing to pay out the nose for an item, others will be more then happy to charge it.

i have noticed a lack of Pasco and Noz....(i dont know how to spell it)
I bumped into Pasco last night when levelling in Kuftal.
Pasco and Nozokimi are still around. LS crew, still here, Logitech and his crew, not sure about.
But, I did here something interesting about Nozokimi, heard she is NOT a gilseller, but someone that was trying to make money to lvl NIN. This could be true. I know that I have been thinking about tele whoring for a bit to make the extra cash to lvl some pricey jobs. But this is something that I heard, so cant verify it as fact or not.

This is absolutely NOT meant to berate, demean, or rant at anyone. I am simply stating my point and opinion and completely, truly and utterly appreciate and respect both of your posts.

It's been said before...i'll say it again. With the Gil-Sellers gone...the prices will not go down. If anything - they will go up.
WHY?
I'll tell you....
Gil-Sellers camp NM's 24/7. Which means that every NM pop is claimed, which means that if the drop of the valuable item DOES occur, then they immediately sell the item. Without the gil-sellers, average people will camp the item, some will keep it, other times, the NM pops might go unclaimed, or not be claimed as fast, etc....which essentially means what?
THAT LESS OF THAT ITEM IS FOR SALE ON THE A.H. - less items on sale = yes, you guessed it. HIGHER PRICES.
I am TOTALLY not in favour of gil-sellers, i'm just pointing something out to people that think prices will go down because there are less gil-sellers.
In regards to the second comment, high prices are not an indication of a players greed. It's called business at it most simple and basic level:
SUPPLY and DEMAND.
Simple.
If there are many of an item for sale, the price will be cheaper. If there is only one - it will most likely cost more.
People also don't factor in the possible 'story' behind how a player acquired an item. It could totally affect how much a player tries to sell something for.
For example - if a person decides they want to try for a Peacock Charm - and they go and camp Argus for that item, and it takes them a month of camping it 10 hours a day (this is hypothetical, don't forget) Is it wrong for that person to want to get as much as they can for that item that they spent SO MUCH time getting? Do they want to 'be nice' to the other people (that they don't know) by selling it for cheap, people who don't want to take their precious time to go and camp it themselves?
Another example of a background story affecting the price of an item. - A person tries to acquire an item that normally goes for 50K (from NM or whatever other means) - they end up dying like 5 times in the process of getting the item and in total, spend about 4-5k on choco's in the process.
My question to you is...is it wrong for them to try to get 55K or 60K for that item - especially if there are no others for sale at the AH?
This is open for discussion. Please, I encourage peoples opinions on this matter.

Not sure about Nokozimi, but my understanding through the grapevine, from what various people have told me, is that the original Pasco sold his character to someone else, so the person using Pasco now, is not the Gil-Seller of old. Just what i heard, totally not confirmed and i'm not certain.
I do know Bheh has been MIA for about 2 weeks now - some of you might remember Bheh as a 24/7 camper of Stroper Chyme. That's all I know - Bheh may or may not have been banned. Another Ordelles resident (and I know I'm gonna spell this wrong) Elliynid or whatever the name was seems MIA too.

recently was camping stroper chyme. Many sandoriansons there camping it up, heard later that they were able to get about 6 rings. Friend and I were able to find one ring, but ia lso think that they just camp it for the gil they need for gear.

the only fault to your reasoning snipersixtysix is that many of the gil sellers for the company get the drops or buy them from the ah and sell them on their site and not on the ah which means they aren't really putting that item up for your supply and demand.
I remember a few months back that people bought 10 leaping boots and sniper rings and what not in a row within a few minutes of each other and within a week or two the gil seller websites that people point out had item sections to their website. Basically they took the supply out of the ah and put it up on their site instead which meants real cash spent on fake gear instead of fake cash spent on fake gear.
Beyond that, yes I comprehend the supply/demand ideas but this game has variables that can't really be concrete to use the supply/demand idea thoroughly and accurately

Well stated point Acid Reign. I think the term gil-seller has become so broad that it now, i guess, includes item/weapon sellers. I wasn't really talking too much in terms of the selling of weapons and gear for real money, but you make a valid point. I was more focussing on the the Gil-Sellers selling items on the AH to acquire gil to sell to Gil-Buyers. But as I said, you make a valid point.
my good friend DUb camped stroper for a few months to get the rings to use with his Dragoon. I think it took close to 200 kills.
Ive partied my bard with Nozokimis nin, shes very nice and I seriously doubt shes a gil seller. she works hard to buy her gear.
God this is worse then a witch hunt. So & so has alot of gil they must be a gilseller....they couldnt possibly spend weeks farming right?:P
A Singaporean gil seller explained that most of these people work for a company and they have to bring in around 250,000 minimum each everyday, its like a real job. I still dont get it :/

First of all i will intredios my self As Deathknightkw a Sandoriasons LS Sacholder and yes Zidana we camp stroper and sometimes we get 3-4 rings but did you bothered asking your self why ???
you know me DRK61 and i quit lvling 2 weeks after lvl 60 just to get Haubergion and snipers couse i dont like to lvl with Low gears i spend my gil on Great equip and so are my ls members cuz most of us has low crafts and some noobs in ls even BUY gil from Gs weps
second thing you need to know that Ls Sandoriasons is 90% members from Kuwait and thanks god we are weilthy that we can drive BMW and Mercedes Binz and we play game to have fun not to sell gil
Fainally dont judge a Ls just becouse you cant claim a NM as fast as other players do .
You want the names of the Gil sellers not banned yet in Ordelles i will tell you : Heppyxiaohaw Pld chinese with lower gear and / Andysr THF / Lisyala (notspilledright) she sleeps stroper and runs with it 24/7 camper / these are the gil sellers .
