Seeing as how we have a "finest" thread, I figured we could probably also have a "promising" thread.. Hopefully this thread will be less of a popularity contest than the previously mentioned one because this thread is for the new players (who have had no time to become popular) that you have encountered that actually seemed to have a pretty good idea of what they were doing. I don't think anyone here could say that they *haven't* partied with at least one newer player that they found impressive in some form or another.

So please, if you are in a party that has a newer player that you were impressed by in some way, post their names here. (And hopefully this thread won't go the way of the Bogy.. >.> )

I have one to post.

Cjcheshire (I think it's cj .. might be cg?)
Great name, great attitude, great mithra. ^_^ Has yet to reach level 30 for any advanced jobs, but was very enjoyable to party with and knew the stuff that a player *should* know by the time they reach Kazham. (Maybe they were making a 2nd char, but from the convo we had I highly doubt that) Has aspirations to be a DRK someday. ^_^

Good Call on the Nub (New Player, not Moron) Thread.

Frostywolf - Is a new player on Ragnarok, just got him a Worldpass last night, and He chose to Start w/ a Thief. I warned him about the 1-15 fun :p Common Sense and RTFM Skills Earn this 3 Day player alot of Props, as most stuff I tried to tell him, he already knew :)

When I 1st began to read this thread the first name that came to my mind was, "Panzerfrost." Excellent War, I pt'ed with him in Qufim and he showed no signs of newbism. Truely a wonderful player.

But then again, I guess Im a nub too ._.

I have been mending wounds of adventures lately, as summoner and white mage, and while I've met maaaaaaaaaany bad players, who just wouldn't listen for a better way, there were a few who suprised me.
Selphine, the Female Hume Paladin, who kicked lots of booty. ^^
MeatShield-A fine Galka Paladin who kept me in stiches(not sure if he's new or not)
and Danie-A new recruit to our linkshell and a very competant taru black mage.
I've been in and out of so many bad parties, I know I forgot so many, so sorry. :P

Another addition from me. ^_^ I hope other people get interested in this thread and post..

Kyaari - fun to chat with, and also willing to take (kindly put) suggestions. Has a more experienced friend helping her out, and all in all I'd say a definate two thumbs up. ^_^

Majinsean...he isn't afraid to ask questions, he actually takes the advice he's given to heart, and he's very good-natured about his noob status. ^_^ I'm sure he will be an asset to the community for many months to come.

This may sound crazy, and I'm probably in the minority on this...but we need more newbies, especially during these dark times of exodus to WoW.

LMAO!!! It's Cj- she's my younger sister!! I had hooked her up with the game & HDD for her b-day/graduation present... she's now a 31 DRK, but has been busy with work the last couple of months. She's now hooked on loggin & wordworking. Glad to hear she's holding her own out there- I help her when I can with strategy & equip tips, but she's learned a lot on her own (I haven't even unlocked drk >.>).

I'll have to point her to this thread- she'll probably get a kick out of it!

Hahahaha. Me and a friend of mine got her and Frostywolf to rank 3 a few nights ago and were rolling with laughter about some of the stuff we did. It was hilarious. ^_^ (My friend and I were in tears from laughing at one point..)

Since Joishi is very dedicated to this thread, I will try to contribute.

A new friend from acrossed the Atlantic was in our LS for awhile. Good guy, smart, and I think will be excellent. He's levelled so fast though that I think he's probably in the 50's already.

His name, Axcel.

And rate ups for everyone.

Arko is a promising beginner, just unlocked his subjob and is always asking questions about what needs to be done and what is the right way to do it. Also makes us frequently laugh when he says he wants to come help with AF quests and coffer hunts.

Rikkusuave. A new Mithra Blm that has a good attitude and learns very well. Met them in Valkurm and picked up on Magic Bursts and timing very quickly.

So here's a big shout out to Rikkusuave. Weird name but awesome player.

Atfields: A monk I met in the dunes who did a great job with some basic DD and not only was willing to learn how to skillchain, but was suggesting we do it right from the start. Not exactly normal for a 16 mnk with no sub.

Mayuka: This last weekend I went through close to 10 different white mages in many different parties. Many had their subjobs and higher rank, but none did the job as well as this person. Very willing to learn. Not exactly perfect, but by those higher levels this person should be doing great.
