I've got 3 ls's
one given to me by a friend (small my first one though :P )
another i was introduced to by my room mate (moderately sized but rubbish if u need help for summit)
the third is a private ls for me and some freinds.....(tiny)
My problem? I have no-one to go to , to ask for help (e.g. no high enough lvl friends, or high lvl ls members), so i was wondering does anyone have an ls that is helpful and experienced AND will help with special events (like Promyvion and Garrison etc.)

Well.... I don't have any recommendations of LS's for you, but I can offer a piece of advice.
Most LS's don't give out pearls based on what the new holder can get out of them. Most LS's *do* give out pearls based on what the new holder can offer the LS (whether it's via job level, job type, experience, knowledge, *or* social fun times)..
Your post above sounds sort of like "I want a LS that I can mooch off of".. A different approach would be to say that you're looking for a LS that you can participate in events with, and leave the "help me out" stuff out of it.. If they enjoy your personality and such, then most likely they'll help you out when you get around to asking for it.. But the immediate "help me out" usually sends up red flags with people.

If you want details on my linkshell, send me a tell in game. We are pretty open and as long as you don't take the game too seriously and are willing to help out where you can, we can usually provide a good home for you.
We are hoping to start off monthly events, but right now a lot of us are tied up in the AF thing, so stuff like garrisons will probably not start until after that. I know quite a few still need to do the promy fights and we are doing goofy linkshell events to get everyone together such as planning on taking a linkshell fishing trip. Very cheesy, but a good way to get everyone of all levels together. We have people who just started to a few 75s who visit every now and then. A good chunk of us are around the 60 mark.
Oh yeah, name in game is Tif.

Hi Tif, I was also looking for a new LS that i can help out in. Mine has recently dwindled ( I love you WoW! -_-) and I want some place to kick back and help others. I'll send you a /t in game and see if maybe you guys can squeeze in one more taru into the LS, hope to talk to you soon. :)

Also send me an Ingame Tell...My LS always helps out....Next week we are all going to just go get my AF helm..which requires an alliance of 60+ of 18 members...just an FYI.

I Thought the 64 LS member Limit was only Applicable to Concurent Members (I.E. - Only 64 People can be in the Shell @ Once), Like a Hub Limit. That is the Impression I got from Another thread about Ls Limits, you can give all you want, but only 64 in the Shell @ Once.
Anywho, Good Luck on the LS. Helping Pre-20 Players is always nice to do when you first join a shell, as it shows you are willing to "give back from the cookie-jar" of Linkshell Support. Hope you find a nice one, as Mine is Mostly Friends chatting, and the seasonal *Planned* Ghetto backup when Needed.
To End on a Peave, the Worst part about a Big LS is when someone Demands to do a quest out of the Blue, and they can plainly see all on Are XP'ing, then 'Requester' gets grumpy :x
