Well todays was quite an interesting day up in the Gustaberg area ^^ I was riding around on my chocobo when I spied a couple of newbie Galk thieves, both with 4 letter names, both at lvl 3. Didn't strike me as odd at first but then I saw a third Galk thf, also with a 4 letter name... I started getting suspicious at that point so I hopped off my chocobo and ran around the entrance to Bastok finding a total of 6 of these Galka thieves. I believe they were bots.. I started talking to some of them with no replies. I then followed one around, sniping the enemy they were going after still with no words being spoken by them. And then, after following them around for about a half hour, they all head back into town at the exact same time o_o; It was a very strange sight to see.. I contacted the help desk and I got the automated message saying they'd look into it :/
And for those who are interested I did write down the 6 names. They are: Zmnr, Mbhr, Djkr, Lkfr, Kmnr, and Znkr. All 6 of them were right outside Bastok, killing low level monsters.. and then they all ran into Bastok Markets and eventually logged. All were Galka thieves... all at lvl 3 though a couple of them hit lvl 4...

you are correct, i saw them today not sure about them being the same name but they all had 4 letter names.
I too tried to speak to them and healed them and gave protect, jumped on there mob with no reply or any word spoken.
I then saw one of them running at a wall as if he was stuck, after 1 hour of searching for cards i had forgotten all about it, as i head back to bastok to claim my prize who do i see but the same guy running into a wall for the last hour.
Bot? yes they have to be.
All keep a look out and see what we can do about this, if there is a need to.

Hmmm, I'll keep my eyes peeled for them.
There's not much we can do.. but if everyone who sees them reports them to the GMs, they have to do something about it eventually. If we can get them banned at this early stage it'll save us all trouble in the future when they start camping NMs.. So don't be shy, report them!
Well... lo and behold I was coming back to Bastok from the Dunes and once again I spy another party of Galka thieves which were obviously bots ^^;; I reported them and actually spoke to a GM this time who said he would take care of them if they were bots.
Their names this time around were: Asdhz, Asfaz, Forggz, Helloz, Byezz, and Xiabaybz. Hopefully they'll be banned by now :)

I saw them also the other day. I had just unlocked Drg and came back to Bastok to play around with it and give it a try. I was out there killing and would engage a mob they would stil run over and stand there for a few seconds while i was killing. Then later when i was running from a gob, yes sadly i had to run :(. I zoned and came back out a few moments later and there were 3 of them, 2 dead the 3rd fight and then died. All hped at the same time about 1 minute later. I thought it was strange also.
