An open letter to the DBS linkshellFollow

Just found this thread since I don't frequent the server specific boards much. As a member of the linkshell (sackholder) I really want to know the truth behind this. I remember the sheer frustration from Neikon, Beir, and others leaving and wondered what was going on. I remember noticing Beldin being gone once (saw him without pearl) and wondered what happened. Heard he got booted and never heard any more explanation.

I remember the desacking and the reasoning was supposed to have been because the linkshell was getting overcrowded and only the most trusted people would have them. I still wonder how I am that "trusted." Granted I've been in the shell since the summer but I've never exactly been the most frequent player. Heck, I remember the only reason I ever got the sack was because I was the only person in an area at one time who could easily give a pearl to a person for a mule they were creating. I like to think I'm a nice helpful guy in game, but I never really thought of myself as a "trusted" person at all times (not to say I can't be trusted).

Sadly, I don't think I'll ever be able to get answers as the people all on one side have left. Now any time I start to miss people like Neikon and Beir I'll always have this little twinge of uncertainty. Oh, to have the innocence of ignorance again. :(
