The only problem I see with Casino's is that the person running them really can't be trusted. Who's to say they won't just jet with your gil, even if you win? Therein lies the entire issue with them and thus, should be stopped.
Unless SE implements a system for gambling that disallows cheating (and they won't), then Casino's should not be allowed to exist. :/

For me I think 50/50 on this like when the min bid is 100 gil yeah sure for a little fun and to get my mind off of questing and lvling I will do a casino BUT when the min bid is 1k ya know I can get a stack of arrows for 1k (well there abouts) so I would rather not waste my money. Though I do also agree... If you need money ... FARM! It is easier AND you will make money with out the risk of being scamed. =p

I would post it but I don't feel like it, but it is based on a statistical formula, though i think the number would come out to actually be like 669 or 668 lol. Well either that or they just decided that 666 works because its 2/3 the chance numbers in total =p. that works too or they could just be like ... hrmmmm 666 sounds like a good number ... but just because they picked 666 does not mean they are satanist ... that is really not something to call some one just because they use a number assoicated with satan for a casino type thing. Its like Sieg Heil is assoicated with ****'s and being racist and evil but all it means it is Wellfare Victory. Don't assume or associate UNLESS the person says welcome to satan's casino ... then yeah the 666 would prolly go along with the satanist bit.

Well if you want to ever go to do the casino's theres a taru wearing af whm armor in sandy ( rarely ever does it though ) that does it and the player has the advantage espeically if your the type of person that gets numbers below 250. he... she ... the taru 's casino is like 1-250 = money back, 251-500 = loss, 501-665 = win (2:1), 666 = win (4:1), 667-900 = loss, 901-998 = win (2:1), and 999 = win (4:1) which means you have
a 0.25025025025025025025025025025025 of getting your money back,
a 0.48448448448448448448448448448448 of losing,
a 0.26526526526526526526526526526527 of winning,
a 0.26326326326326326326326326326326 of winning (2:1),
a 0.002002002002002002002002002002002 of winning (4:1).
That is about the average percent of what you can get...it really is in the advantage of the player. I am not saying that you will win but theres like a 48% to lose so ya got 52% to either win or get your money back. Tis a pretty good deal, least I think.
What would all of you think of a low stakes casino? In particular one that doesn't shout more than once every 5 minutes. I would think you'd get the same type of gambling experience in this way, but at the same time if a person were to jet you wouldn't exactly be out a whole lot. I don't think I'd mind one of those as much.
