I'm not a big fan of gilsellers on our server. Their actions alone speak volumes about them. However, I checked out one of the more well known sites for gilsellers, and I noticed this little tidbit of information that just makes me hate them more than ever:

Quote:
Millions of people, like you, enjoy playing online games. Everyone plays the games to have a good time. Friendliness, courtesy, and respect for others are as important in the online world as they are in real life. We encourage all players to be good citizens of the gaming community. Exploits, hacks, and monopolizing camp spots so other people can’t acquire good items are destructive to the whole game experience for everyone. Game economies are not helped by making it difficult for other players to play and enjoy the game. Any activity that makes playing the games less fun hurts us all. We encourage you to use common sense, common courtesy, and enjoy the marvelous adventures in the games. Help everyone have fun and all else follows.

Need I say more?

Uh oh Airamis, looks like Bheh and crew told on us.

Well if regular players can whine and cry and post everywhere "it's just not FAIR!" it seems only natural that the people who are trying to feed their kids do the same. I'd be interested to know if the gil farmers have a forum they all complain about us in. That would be some funny reading.

I really wish this company would back up it's word by no longer using the suppliers who do this to aquire gil. Telling people not to do it means nothing though without enforcement, and what reasons do they have to enforce? It's not like the player's they are alienating with these tactics would become customers in most cases if they didn't employ these tactics. But I do think it would help eliminate some of the despise that player's feel for sellers. I honestly think if they didn't take it to the extreme that they do, that does interfere with the enjoyment of the game, most poeple wouldn't care if they were around. If everyone who wanted it got a shot at say stroper chyme on a somewhat regular basis, would anyone really care if occassionally (let's say a total of 5 hours a week) a gil seller camped it? I mean if the rest of the hours of a week were fair game to all?

Sales of in game currency are always going to be around. That's just the way it is. But I really wish these companies would back up what they say and ensure their "employees" actually treated other people on the servers with respect.

This is the biggest example of pro-gilseller newspeak I've seen. For one thing, it's necessary for gilsellers to employ such tactics to get enough gil in short times to sell. Second, gilselling in itself is "destructive to the whole game experience for everyone."

The gilselling companies want you to think they're playing fair, but we all know that they're not. Don't be fooled by this propaganda.

hehe, I almost think that was the company directing those comments to it's suppliers.

Besides Queenie, Bheh and the rest of the Chyme campers LOVE me! Why wouldn't they? I always offer to have them come over, get egg rolls and watch Jackie Chan on TBS with me. How can you not like such an open and inviting person? Heck I even offer to let them go take a pee break while I grab the Chyme for them. I'm offering food, fine Hong Kong Kung fu action, and a little work break. What's not to love?

Ok so maybe Choyro thinks I'm 'Very bad man' and 'Not nice people'. But that's ONE guy......

lmao, we should arrange that the group I have that has fun (it's a small one) with them and Chyme meet when your group is there. :D

Bheh really hates my Carby. Always slaps him for some reason. 0=) (no voke, I'm using any advantage I have)

It's fun to mess up the science of it. We got them flustered enough that they messed up on the spawn times and when they were still fighting the one in the room, the one on the steps spawned. Well for some reason, their lookout was staying with the main group and I was the only one on the steps. No drop, but I wasn't expecting it.

We've actually frustrated them to the point of Ellynnd (whatever) will take the one from the room and kite it off somewhere and simply never kill it....for 3 hours one night...while totally abandoning the stairs to us. THey all just stood around healing 'her' while the chyme just kept on whacking her..she'd hit it every now and then to keep the hate.

This past weekend we went back to recamp it and this time Bheh and company were playing fair and not using their normal annoying tactics. In doing this, our pld was able to get a pull. The only thing any of us got after that was curious if we got the drop or not. We didn't, but it was a fun day.

Saw this on the Morrion Worm, Some Drg had H2H equipped, hitting for like < 10 Dmg, and taking quite a Bit of Dmg. Whm strolls over, Cure III, wash rinse repeat.

This lasted 15 min Easy, and was quite annoying, as there is no good reason to not kill a mob, cause you want your Posse there (being 1 person could easily kill it). Nothing Cooler then Greed, and Pop-Whoring.
