Cmoooon, we have like the 3rd least active server forum on these boards, even tho our server is one of the most populated. We're currently beating only Diabolos & Siren, while every1 else is kickin our butts. Heck, even Quetzalcoatl has more threads, & i cant even pronounce that name, let alone name ne1 from there.

So lets get postin! Or i send zee mandragoras after ya.

The 2nd kind. Oh, & they also ride stolen DRG wyverns & talk like pirates.

I think the truth is that most people post while they are 'AWAY' from the game - like at work or school.

People are filling the need while they are 'jonesin' for the game(for those that don't know the term ~Jonesin'~ - it's what a crackhead does when he is itchin' to smoke crack - he joneses)

I know that's when I post, when i'm workin' and I'm thinkin' about what i'm going to do later that night in the game or when I'm trying to research something I want to get done.

OR - the other time people post is when they need info/help/etc.

ON A BIT OF A SEPARATE NOTE (but still relevant as it has something to do with the amount of posts)

I think what this forum could do with less of is things like:

1. Bashing other players
2. Complaining
3. Nitpicking and/or degrading/demoralizing other peoples posts and opinions
4. Begging
5. Ranting (though it's good to vent sometimes and can be fun)
6. Fabricating lies about others
7. Inane Generalizations of people ~'Generalization' means: "the process of formulating general concepts by abstracting common properties of instances"( Examples of narrowminded and unfounded generalizations: Why are ALL the new players rude and play crappy? Why do ALL whm's suck in the 60's? Why did ALL the nice people leave, etc.)
8. Repetitiveness - 60,000 different threads about the exact same thing when it could all be contained within one thread.
9. Peoples attempts to take the 'fun' out of the game


That last one is of course, the most important. This is a game we play. It should be fun. So should posting and reading forums.
