Anyone else seen this yet? I saw this the other day and IMO it's the best thing Ghibli has put out in a long time. It's not their best movie ever but I liked it a lot more than Howl's Moving Castle or Ponyo.

It's not playing anywhere near me, but looks good.

Totoro is my favorite Miyazaki movie with Spirited Away a close second. Ponyo I actually got to see in a theater and really enjoyed it - it would probably be my third favorite. Howl's was ok, but kind of dark and depressing without the underlying message that came with Spirited Away. Kiki's Delivery Service I thought was downright boring. If not for the pretty animation I'd not have finished watching it.

Think those are the only ones I've seen. I want to see Princess Mononoke.

Watched it a few months ago. It was okay. It's based off the borrowers so I kept making mental comparisons to that. I'd prefer to watch Totoro or Mononoke though.

edit: I need to rewatch Kiki's delivery service. I haven't seen it since I was little.

Quite possibly my favorite. Which reminds me, I haven't watched it this year.

Same. Kiki's Delivery Service and Princess Mononoke are easily my favorite Ghibli movies.

I'm always up for a new Ghibli movie. I'm fairly certain I've seen them all, with Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind being my favorite.

Princess Mononoke (which I own) and Howl's Moving Castle (which I don't) are my top two. I need to find HMC on DVD...

As for this one, I'll definitely see it when I have the opportunity. I'm not sure it's playing here. Ghibli always has top-notch English voice actors, so I'm not worried about that at all. I expect it to be yet another excellent movie.

I've only seen Spirited Away, which I really liked. I'll need to check this one out.
