So besides Nise, what else is worth watching this season?

I'm giving Mouretsu Space Pirates a chance because it has school girls in maid outfits and space pirates. I really need to heighten my standards.

I was trying to make a **** joke. Because SaHa.

As for other good shows this season.. Miniskirts in sppaaacceeee and that slice of life with guys look interesting. To be honest though I haven't even looked at the chart for this season since I'm not watching any of it, sans nise, until it finishes. If any of them are amazing/awesome I'll probably make a thread for it.

Also, I've started one piece. First episode watched two days ago. I'm somewhere around or past ~70 now.

Is it sad that I knew exactly who you were referring to? -_-

My first reaction, because I look at pictures before words, was "Another season of Haruhi? Smiley: dubious" Then I read it and was like "Is that Haruhi? Smiley: dubious"

It's the only one of the big series that I still watch actively. I enjoy a good satire.

Re: fansubbers

It's all a matter of preference, but I have used this list in the past as a reference to find out which groups are awful/great: http://www.whiners.pro/review_summary/

It lists each group by show- so pick the show and you can see reviewed quality of the subs for each group. Like anything, it's not perfect, but it is something.

I usually just go to http://www.anidb.net to find the groups subbing an anime, and then if it's recent or new use http://ji-hi.net to compare the subs.

I rarely watch stuff while it's airing though, so I guess you would do things a bit differently. I guess I just check my favorite sub groups to see if anybody is doing it.

As for the site you linked, I decided it's **** after clicking ben-to and seeing that gg got a "C-". Some of the reviews are alright.. but I can't trust anything that would give good subs for a show that low a grade. They also don't update. Obviously used a v1 for the first episode.. which is fine if you're watching it as it airs I guess.. but even ji-hi updates when a group releases a v2 or a v3, which gg did.

cept Ji-hi doesn't have anything for this season? Ani-db looks ok though, more comprehensive to be sure.

I'm just made at it. :3 It's probably good for right when a season starts, but bad for when a season has finished. I usually only watch shows that fit the latter, so I'm prejudice against it.

There are 8 show comparisons currently on it for this season already. And there's definitely going to be more added..

With the end of episode seven the Karen Bee arc is over. We got a nice fight scene and some lovely fanservice. Senjougahara's request was great, although it didn't carry any of the emotion that the summer triangle scene from bake did. Shinobu's request was great also, ka ka.

Well, the encounter with Kaiki was a little anticlimatic but that's to be expected. I still loved the writing. So what's after this?

The whole thing with Karen was the climax. It's called Karen Bee after all. The Kaiki stuff was just an epilogue.

Tsukihi Phoenix is next.
