A movie about two very different people with enormous problems in their lives and their unique and unexpected relationship. I was slightly reminded of Persepolis because of the usage of animation and strong gray tones, as well as well as the struggles of characters that are so far beyond their control.

It's a very dreary movie, though I found it to be interesting throughout. There is a lot of description of the quirks and small details in the characters' lives which some might find to be slow pacing for the story. I thought the minor details and descriptions were the story.

If you enjoyed Persepolis, then this is definitely worth a shot.

I recently added this to my Netflix queue, along with Harvie Krumpet (similar style and by the same folks). Haven't gotten to it yet, but I also don't have a lot of free time for movies right now...
