Synopsis: Starting out like a terrible B-movie, spores from outer space land on Earth and hatch strange worm-like creatures. These parasites find humans and attempt to take over their bodies. The controlled humans become tentacled monsters (cue the schoolgirl jokes) with an appetite for human flesh and an innate desire to wipe out human kind. Only... some of the parasites fail to make it to their hosts' brains and instead merge with a different part of their body. Shinji, the protagonist, has one stuck in his right arm. Now he needs to fight to survive, stop the invasion... and teach his new arm Migi that maybe humans are friends, not just food.
Ok, I made it sound funnier than it actually is. This series is a horror series through and through, with gruesome deaths left and right and infrequent nude scenes. It isn't particularly good nor bad. The onemanga translations got a little choppy in the final chapters, making it harder to get the "deep" conversations, but I still didn't feel they were especially deep. It was worth reading because I was bored, but I wouldn't read it again. I give it a 5/10; nothing special, but really violent if you're into that. I picked it because it was supposedly a "psychological" genre... nope. Not really at all.
