This is it: Neil Patrick Harris is nearing a deal to appear in the May sweeps Glee episode that’s being helmed by his Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog director, Joss Whedon.
Also, new guest casting spoiler mixed in with stuff we already knew. Barry Manilow? Seriously? Hrm...
I'll withhold judgment, but it seems to me that maybe, just maybe, Glee's sudden and unexpected meteoric rise to popularity and the resulting interest in all sorts of big-name celebs in appearing on the show is going a bit to Ryan Murphy's head.
Maybe. It could also just be long-hiatus blues speaking. Whoever said "absence makes the heart grow fonder" was full of crap. With shows as in relationships, I've noticed a tendency for people to become a lot more critical and rush to assume the worst when there's a long separation.
I forget where, but I read somewhere that they're going to be doing a talent search show for the three new cast members for season 2. I'm assuming they're going to broadcast the show during the hiatus until April to keep interest for the show up, but in all honesty I probably won't watch it because I hate talent shows anymore. For people that like those types of shows, I'd guess it'll probably help keep interest up.
Well, they're not doing a talent search show, but they are having an open casting call for those three roles. And it has been confirmed that one of those three roles will be Kurt's boyfriend.
Funny, according to this news site: http://www.kesq.com/global/story.asp?s=11802892 they are doing the talent search televised over the summer. But I haven't found any other sources online that confirm it. I'd think that a local station might not be the most reliable for a national story, but I could be wrong.

I wouldn't put it past FOX, it would be a great show to air alongside what I assume will be the SYTYCD in the summer season, I just hadn't heard any mention of it, and I tend to lurk at a lot of avid fan sites so one would think we would have seen SOMETHING of that nature by now.
Wow. For once, in contradiction of her long-standing habit of taking spoilers that are common knowledge EVERYWHERE and presenting them as though they're brand-new exclusive scoops, Kristin at E! has actually managed to produce a couple spoilers I haven't seen before.
Of particular excitement is this one: • Ryan Murphy reveals Finn's mom and Kurt's father will have some romantic tension coming up, which excites Kurt because he might move in with Finn!
You heard it here first. Woot! Now maybe the fic I could never get rolling with will stop haunting me.
Those spoilers are delicious! My favorite: Ryan on Kurt's new boyfriend: "He's very different, but equally fabulous. I want them to be the power couple of the school." I'm so squealing right now.
• Lines from Sue Sylvester that didn't make it to air: "Shut your mouth before I rape it." "Rachel wears floor length denim skirts that make her look like she's escaped from a polygamist compound." "I will kick you square in the ******."
