I just finished watching it and while I liked the world and found the reason for building Ceylons believable, the thought of the first one being an angsty teenage girl computer genius just seems a bit silly to me.

It wasn't on, it went to DVD. I just grabbed the torrent, it was faster than going to the store. Apparently it's going to be a new series, so it'll probably play on TV at some point, but they'll have to edit out the nudity.
