They're trying to push the manga far enough ahead to start the anime back up. Right now the last episode of the anime is Natsu beating Sting and Shadow.

Fairy Tail (x3!) :Natsu stole the king's crown, Ultear appears to be an old woman permanently now, and we get some cryptic talk about the Tartaros dark guild and Zeref.

My guess is that Tartaros will be the villains of the next arc, with Zeref further down the line. They really are implying Zeref will be the final boss.

I really liked the triple chapters thing. It allowed them to cover a lot of relatively boring ground pretty quickly, so that we can start the next arc sooner.

Ultear most likely died at the end of that scene, it's standard for manga/anime to have the heavily injured character die as soon as they find inner peace. Probably a candle flickered out somewhere nearby, you know the usual trope stuff.

The Zeref arc will probably happen around the same time that Acnolgia was supposed to attack according to Future Rogue.

Gantz is finally over, if anyone cares.

What started as a promising final arc mostly ended with a whimper. As a whole, the series has quite a few ups & downs, but the "good" arcs seem to outweigh the bad.

Naruto: Interesting, So hes stronger then the first, how are they going to win then? I mean Edo tensei makes the 4 Kages "Immortal" But that wouldnt be any fun if they did all the work. Next week they heroically sacrifice themselves to protect the chosen one, Naruto Sasuke.

Obito has the Ten Tails, but part of his body is Black Zetsu which is a clone of Madara. Madara absorbs Black Zetsu giving him power over the Ten Tails, then Naruto uses his mystical word jutsu to convince Madara that the Leaf Village is safe in the current generation's care. Madara then feels all the peace up in his *** and the reanimation jutsu ends taking the Ten Tails with it.
