This should be interesting to see.
Roland Emmerich, better known for such movies as "The Patriot", "10.000 BC", "Godzilla" and ofcourse "The day after tomorrow" is actually selected to try and make a movie of The Foundation trilogy.
I really wonder how that will work out, I like his movies (apart from 10.000BC which is really bad imo) but none really stand out.
As an aside, the article also refers to "The End of Eternity" being made a movie of too. That one is my Asimov favourite, but perhaps even harder to turn into a movie.
