One Piece: Doflamingo is probably going to use the defeated fighters to boost his own army in case Kaido attacks after Law and Luffy succeed in destroying the factory. Naruto: Obito is defeated, only 9 more months until Madara's final form. Bleach: Way to milk ending the series Kubo.

Bleach: Meh. Captains gonna beat all the bad guys now that they're hollowfied, then we'll have the 20-chapter long fight between Ichigo and Ishida/Zangetsu, until Ishida "betrays" the Quincy, surprising no one except Ichigo. Then Zangetsu will reveal his true plan, Ishida and Ichigo will team up to defeat him, and then they will be beaten to within an inch of their lives until Kenpachi comes, reveals his bankai, and kills everyone, including Ichigo and Ishida.
First the reverse senzu-beans in Bleach and now Fusion Dance in Naruto. I realize this genre is relatively inbred, but come on. Even if Madara on the horizon, I can't help but think Naruto is coming to an end. I mean, the power levels are at their max for the series, so I can't see the comic going much further without some kind of soft reset. Naruto becomes co-Hokage with Sasuke and are in charge of the next generation or further in the future where the next generation of Tailed Beast hosts, Avatar style or something. Or it could go completely DBZ and go universe destroying kamehamehas shot from feet and such.
And I'm still waiting on Kenpachi.
I kind of forgot what happened in One Piece, but it was kind of fluff chapter between story events so ... yeah.

I think it’s the duty of the comedian to find out where the line is drawn and cross it deliberately.
Every other time there has been a big fight against a major villain, there was still someone else that needed resolving after the current guy was dealt with. With Orochimaru, there was still Itachi and hinting at what was to come with Akatsuki. With Pain, there was still "Madara" and what was left of Akatsuki. With Obito, there's still Madara, but after that that's pretty much it. There's nobody left, and if there was we probably would have seen hints about them at this point.
Orochimaru doesn't count as a major threat much anymore, since pretty much all of the main characters have reached a point where they can probably take him fairly easily.
Just about the only person left after Madara who could really be considered villain material is Sasuke. I used to think that the series would build up to a final Naruto/Sasuke fight, but I'm not so sure now, especially with him pulling his usual side-switching sh*t and joining team Good again.
And even there's other evidence pointing to the fact that the series is ending too - all the heroes from the past have been explored, plot threads tied up, and closure had. There's really just nowhere else to go.

The "Tree of Might" gains it's independence again after Madara is defeated, reveals that it's still pissed off at humans for stealing Chakra from it, and decides to go Majora's Mask and drag the moon into the planet to kill all life except itself.

Bleach: Story padding and Quincy Bankai(s) Naruto: Why the hell is nobody keeping an eye on Madara's position while the giant Tug O' Power War is going on? It wouldn't be that hard to intercept the Bijuu chakra and absorb it as soon as it's free from Obito's body.

One Piece: So the Doflamingo family was in charge of Dressrosa up until the past 100 years, then they bailed during the Void Century and King Riku took over until DonQuixote came back. Totally saw the puppet being the Daddy. Bleach: Hey, it's the Snake Way portion of the Sayian Arc! Naruto: It's the Pain speech all over again.
and because no one commented in the past two weeks:
Fairy Tail: The last Dark Guild is Zeref's personal guard, and The E.N.D. is probably someone that Fairy Tail crossed paths with before.

One Piece: Once again it's confirmed that Doflamingo is a Douche. Bleach: A very good reveal on Konamura's history and the true form of his Bankai. I wonder if the transformation boosts its movement speed. Naruto: Naruto gains the Associative Identity Disorder jutsu.

One Piece: Robin's face at the end of the chapter is priceless. Bleach: Naruto: Pretty good chapter overall. Noticing that the author keeps shoehorning the Naruto/Sasuke/Sakura personalities into every 2 men/1 woman group.

That's been going on a while now. If you'll look back, literally every group that was at one time heroic involved the two guys/one girl + a mentor pattern.
One thing I enjoy about Naruto is that while it's still shonen, the author still does include some deeper elements to his writing. The themes of the younger generation making up for the older's mistakes, war as an unnecessary evil, and the inability to understand one another, etc. To be honest, you could probably write a half decent literary paper on Naruto.
I mean, I'm not saying some things aren't overused and the writing is flawless, but it at least shows more thought and overarching structure than, say, Bleach. I read Bleach for the lols at this point.

I meant the personalities, every one of those groups had people with the exact same personalities as Squad 7. I mean look at the other rookie squads, 2 men/1 woman with a mentor but their personalities are most likely completely different from their mentor's group.

Bleach: Konamura is probably going to have Kurotsuji attach some humanoid limbs to his wolf body so he can draw his sword. Also that scene will be the strangest opening for Lesbian Vampire **** yet. One Piece: On hiatus until the middle of January after today's chapter.
