You guys have some crappy luck with Abyssea parties. Smiley: frown

Speaking of Abyssea, I obtained Atma of the Voracious Violet tonight. STR+50, Double Attack +5%, 2 TP/tick Regain... f*ck yeah!

It's the main reason why I don't like tahrongi canyon ever.. takes too much time to build on mandies that you could be easier capped on frogs..

I need to find an Abyssea party in the next few days to cap WHM exp and get some merits. I'm assuming G7 will need them.

I haven't had an Abyssea party since I got here that managed positive time...

Just putting this here, 14's updater seems to be absolutely terrible.

I think I heard that it's P2P and very torrent-ish? In that case, I would assume it's completely dependent on how many people are updating at the same time you are, which wouldn't be very many since open beta has been available for the better part of a week.

Note: I'm speculating on speculation from spectators.

You know, it just occurred to me that the Original 10K OP has only made one post on Alla here since his original 10K was locked.

I got in a lovely abyssea party last night killing lizzies. Almost got all my merits done! One more on thief then finish up blm and I am done. :D Is it any wonder I love abyssea? Even with the bad parties? People are getting better at leading them but man that is a job I dont envy anyone for.

I have to labor later. :(

On the bright side, ran into a couple old friends in the FFXIV beta. I'm playing on Besaid.

Dynas has a parse of me getting 1st in my last Kirin zerg on COR. Smiley: cool Doesn't really count though as a number of factors were in my favor.

...like the brds all dc'd after giving your pt buffs, and you were the only one with ic wing, and also used regain feather, as well as an army of shikokyo mules?

It was very late at night and a few of our best DDs had left. The only WAR there died instantly. I can't remember if there were was a DRK there, but if there was he didn't have KC or MK. I rolled 11 on Chaos, and 11 on Samurai (which is a bit of a selfish buff). Detonator is ridiculously awesome when COR/WAR on mobs with high defense. I didn't have TP wing, but I did start with 200+. My Wild Card was down so I couldn't reset 'real' DD's 2-hours mid-fight. I was selfish with Random Deal and have no idea if it actually benefited anybody else. A SAM was literally only a couple of hundredths of a % behind me in the parse.

A sam? I don't think i've ever seen a sam do even half the damage i usually do on war. You must have had a whole @#%^ton of gimp jobs to win a parse and only be slightly ahead of a sam. Sam is horrible for kirin. Going back to today's parse, i didn't even 2hr, and still did more than double the damage of all the sams, and my war isn't even that good.

Thus why I said that the odds were in my favor. Also, I can't remember how long ago that was. It's entirely possible that it was right after the last update so I was one of the only level 80.

Well i'm less than impressed that you could beat some sams on kirin. A whm could do that.
