I almost died yesterday! was about 10 seconds ahead of an accident, escaped fine but 10 seconds later id not have. Crazy things can come down to mere seconds,

Mine was good. Saturday I had a bunch of friends over. It was fun because most of them are married now so getting everyone together on one day just never happens anymore. Then today I joined a new LS which I think will be my home now. No real drama happened in the old one that made me leave. The LS leader and several friends server transferred to Odin a week or so ago. So I've been homeless as I say (I need my stress free social shell o.o ) But anyway~ Fun evening with friends & a new LS :D Good weekend.

In my defense, I would like to say, Fire Emblem: Awakening is a totally awesome game and has been consuming all my free time. I'm almost done.
Also, I still haven't gotten my JP PS2 copy of the new expansion. I really do not like playing it on the PC. I use my Mac Pro to record television. Do not want to be using my computer to play video games. :\

Good evening all...just wanted to stop by and introduce myself I saw rdmcandie post on a Lakshmi noob school so I followed the link.... Bit bout me I've been playing on and off for the past 5 yrs. last time I was pretty active was March 2012 when I got back from Afghanistan.... just got reconnected bout a month ago and it is definitely not the game I remember hence why I need a noob school.... just been crafting doin besieged and soloing THF from 16-26... my main is a 89 BLM but yea I was hoping to join a social LS... I really enjoy helping ppl if im on and if time permits... Name is Sixnations in game.

I bought it at launch. And they said they're going to give everyone another 30 day free trial so I'll try it out again. But its got to be amazing for me to play it. I've just got too much time & friend invested in xi to give xiv any chance unless its amazing.
I might quite still on the fence but if they should add PUP as a job (or at least give mammets more functionality) I will.
I signed up to hopefully get into the PS3 beta, but that's probably as far as I'll take it.
Unless, like Tikka said, it's amazing. If that's the case, I might have to bring back my Roegadyn FisherChefLancer from PC beta.

Well, since I'm here, I'm going to throw this out there: I want to re-do the final ACP fight for a different piece of armor. Is it possible to solo the Seed Crystal as, say, a 99 PLD/RDM?

I'm not going to say it couldn't be done, but I cannot imagine it being pleasant at all, except maybe if you had Aegis. All of the crystal's attacks are magic damage.
I think BST is a much simpler option, but due to one of the crystal's attacks doing damage based on max HP (Seed of Nihility, I think?) it will deal significantly higher damage to a BST pet than it would on any player, and this attack is frequently used -- therefore you will probably need some dawn mulsums. If you come properly prepared I'm pretty sure BST can do the cleanest solo of this fight.

Except my BST is still sitting at 23. I'll either need to find another option or get off my lazy bum & level BST.
Ironically, I want the Mirke for my PUP, so it's going to have pet augments on it anyway.

Perhaps you got me confused with one of the other Galkas in my LS, like Plageus or Mosquiton. We all apparently look the same to you Humes.
