I was referring to Szabo.. he has had annihilator for about a year and I have seen him on it.. once, while leveling


He's too busy playing instruments to be shooting things. Now if he could have a Gunharp, that'd be different.

Also, finished ToAU tonight. My friend Talaria, who just came back the other day, saw my Glory Crown and has thus dubbed me Burger King. Smiley: lol

So I kinda feel bad about the PLD I inadvertently got killed earlier today.

I was in Vunkerl [S] attempting to solo Madthrasher Zradbodd for a WotG mission, when a PLD starts to heal me. After I KO'd, the Orc goes after the PLD. I reraised (thanks to the Twilight Helm/Mail set), and try pulling it off the PLD. After KOing and reraising a second time, we teamed up; pretty much had to, since the PLD had claimed Madthrasher at this point. After the PLD eats a Thunder IV and goes down, he homepoints with no comment. I end up firing off Fell Cleave to drop the Orc before he could nuke me to death for a third time.

It was a group of friends. He knew they were leeching.

Glad you clarified that, since "bunch of people" didn't exactly equate to "friends" for me. I figured it was one of those random Jeuno shout groups.

Thankfully, EXP is pretty easy to make up in Abyssea, so I doubt the AFKers lost much.

So who is going to be going what job when they first arrive in Adoulin? I think I'm gonna go Blu so that as soon as I get there, I can start killing things for new spells (if they add new spells as soon as the areas become available).

I'm thinking most likely WHM, so I can sneak/invis my way around the areas outside of town to get an up close & personal look at the new mobs.

I will most likely be WHM or PLD for my LS, they are skeered of what this patch has to offer (both in Adoulin and out, tbh) and I will not be able to tote around a dual box WHM in Adoulin like I usually do, since my PS2 is my dual box...

Looks like I might need to switch to the PC while I wait for the JP PS2 copy to arrive. I still need to register the code for the PC version. I have the 360, but that's coming later in the mail. I was really hoping for a physical PC copy, but I guess digital is the way to go these days.

Darn it. I want to play Heart of the Swarm while playing FFXI. Grrr. Stupid no US PS2.

Going to level Geo first because that blue Geo AF pic from the jp live stream reminds me of how FF3's Geo armor looked, hope its relic or empy armor.

You should have joined in with the leech ones I was putting together. Lately I've been working on a Verethragna while a friend of mine is making a Twashtar, and I absolutely hate farming KI from the NMs for Tahrongi, so I had just been whisker-burning on my Blu while ls members leeched. I'd have them hold the KI for me for Glavoid and Chloris, and they'd get exp out of it. Win/win situation for everyone.

The way I do it is so straightforward and safe that you won't be at any risk as long as I don't ***** things up. Basically I just run and aggro all the scorpions in the area, bring them to the camp, sleep them, debuff them a bit, then Charged Whisker them and they're dead. You can cure me while they're slept and you won't have to worry about getting hit, since they should be dead unless I got a partial resist, and even then it'd be on me.
