How is that "less than one second"? It's clearly over the span of 3 seconds.

Yall do realize it wasnt the claim i was complaining about right?....it was the timing between all 3 chars because.....even if you run 3 different windowers...its not possible to switch that fast between windows to get off everything in less than 1 second. Im not complaining the fact that he got claim.....just the fact that all 3 chars basically went off at once

No, but It's possible to use Synergy to send the same macro command to all the computers at once, ie. Alt +1 to 4 computers at once, which may be their claim macro. There are a ton of "other" ways to do this.

Autoexec can do it. I play 3-4 characters regularly, and can't live without it. I guess that could be considered botting, if my other chracters are set to cast something at the same time they see my main doing something.

I think my point is, don't make assumptions, there are much smarter people in the world than you.

Try reading my post and you might understand.

Yeah, I view that as cheating. That's essentially unattended macroing.

Eh, I don't view it any different than configuring my computers to all accept input from 1 keyboard (which is possible, and I do fairly often when controlling multiple characters.) But, whatever, there are ways to do it, some of them may be viewed as cheating. There are at least 3 other ways I can think of, but depending on your perception (ie. thinking 1 person only plays 1 character on 1 computer), may or may not be cheating.

Again, don't make assumptions.

I'm talking about the OP, and how it's 3 seconds in log instead of 1.

And yes, I know about log lag. I've played FFXI once or twice.

Well, if you read my post and understand log lag, why are you saying that it took place over 3 seconds? Dia/Voke/Chi all happened closer together than what timestamp will have you believe.

But how do you get them to all target at the same time? You'd have to tab through each window, target the mob, and then hit your 4-in-one macro. KA would have been claimed long before that by another camper.

This is botting. Its not even really multi boxing. You have 2-3 NPCs following you that you get to program. I wish the game let me program my lousy adventuring fellow, but it does not. You have 3 OMGWTFBBQ adventuring fellows. Its botting; there is no grey area in this case.

You can do this because the same keys you use to target the mob on the main system targets the same mob on all of the other screens. I use 4 different computers, so I don't have to tab through windows, I just use synergy to control 4 computers at once.

But it's ok, keep making assumptions about things you know nothing about, it's really helpful.

seriously this is rediculous. I 2xbox pretty often using a friends account, but guess what....

One is on Ps2, other is on PC OMG!

Option A
Step 1 create macro to target and use claim spell/ja.
Step 2 face both chars towards pop spot.
Step 3 have 1 controller in each hand and spam macro for both chars simultaniously!
4.????
5. Get accused for botting.

Option B
1.Open Menu for ja/spell on both chars
2.Hit Enter/X button repeatedly.(depending on Keyboard or controller as you can
have both on both systems) And how convenient....we have 2 hands.
3.????
4. Get accused for botting.

Hell sometimes I would tro-box with PC/Laptop/PS2. It is easy as hell to hit 1 button on 3 machines within a second considering we have 2 hands.

Would it be nigh impossible to do this on 1 machine changine windows? yeah. But no one said he was on 1 machine. Really over exagerating the "I found a bot!" idea. there are ways to do this without ANY form of questionable activity.
