So I thought, very seriously, about logging back into the game...

I don't remember my POL password and I can't find my box with my ffxi codes...

Maybe I'm not suppose to play again. I'm a sad panda.

I was hoping that Roundel Earrings would drop to 3m-ish by the end of last week. If they did, I was going to buy up a ton of them and wait a few weeks/months to resell. They never got consistently below 5m though, and I doubt they'll climb too much higher... at least not to the 9-10m mark like they were.

I can't complain much though. I got one ages ago before Plucking Wings ever opened up on Lakshmi (thanks server-jumping RMT!) for about 4m. I sold it a few months ago for 9.5m. Then the Illustrious Samhain and I got one to drop to us the other day, so I paid him his share.

Even if you assume only one person farms a day down there for them, that means out of all the brown casket drops in the last two weeks, either a single pair hasn't gone on the AH or hasn't dropped, which is still really bad.

The new brown box drops are just that rare... to the point where anybody with some sanity has given up trying. :P
