So... I've been working like a madman for the last 2 weeks. I've posted a few times, but it's been from my phone so I haven't been able to properly respond to everybodys' posts very well. So I just went back and rated up all posts like good 10K'ers all should finally have a chance to reply to stuff.I've been thinking about this one for days now. It's a tricky subject nowadays. A year ago I would have called you a fool and said "white is free", but Abyssea has really thrown a loop into things.
In 99.9% of scenarios, white is free. If you lost claim, it's your own damn fault. But now with the advent of Abyssea and so many forced pop mobs, it's a bit of a prickhead move to take a force popped mob. On the other hand, if you're taking too long to kill it and another group is waiting to pop, you are wasting time that they will never get back in Abyssea. It's a tricky situation. If the waiting group is really in a rush and know they can make quick work of the mob, the proper thing to do would be to claim the mob and then give the poppers the drop. You can't really expect them to, though; after all, they're wasting their Abyssea time waiting while the poppers are constantly zombie'ing the mob.
When it all boils down, the fact is that you lost claim, timed mob or popped. If someone else takes the mob, there's nothing you can really do about it. They should be nice and give you drops, but they aren't really required to do so.
If they burn you on it, don't suck next time.

I know I can make this better, it's only a tier 2 HQ. I can get Cure Potency +5%, but I don't really need it and I'm scared of losing that awesome cure casting time augment.
This is pure awesome, but the MDB could get even better. I'm just ecstatic to have the maximum Fast Cast!

m.alla is pretty much my main reason for being Premium. It's surprisingly laggy on my 1st-gen MotoDroid, though. 
Now that I'm actually able to play more than 30 min per day, both my mules are stuck in Outer Horutoto Ruins. I'm trying to get a Fisher's Torque or two, but boxes are incredibly rare in dungeon zones. I've been doing Grounds of Valor when I'm not busy on Chewzer, but after approx. 8 hours of doing 6+ regimes per hour, I've only gotten 2 box buffs. I really need to get the hell out of this zone and do Guild Point items, but the GoV buffs stick when you log out/in so I can't leave until I get the drop!. Anywayyyyyys... /rant
Longest 10K post so far? Maybe!

I should be on later tonight. Friends from my old Garuda LS were talking about helping me out with Abyssea stuff. I'm one merit shy of finishing G6, plus I want to stock up for the next 2 limit breaks.
Also, I just got done watching Nintendo's E3 presentation. The new console, Wii U, looks awesome. A touchscreen controller you can stream your console's game to? Epic win.

So farm various Dryadic Abjurations to turn into tatters/buy dryadic tatters and get access to synergy. Kay, doesn't seem horrible at all.

Is it possible to start the quest, warp to Jeuno, buy an item, get teleported back, finish the quest, repeat ad nauseum, until I have enough fame to trigger more quests? I'm still a bit new to the whole Abyssea thing, even after reading Chew's guide.
