So if I'm reading this right, her position is that the school should have simply refused to allow any non-conforming speech, thus avoiding the "problem" of protesters (and the resulting spotlight placed on the blatant suppression of ideas at our nation's universities). That seems... dumb. Perhaps the correct solution is to allow the speech, and allow the students to make up their own minds about things? You know, expose them to diverse opinions so that they can at least have a chance of making informed decisions about the world around them.
If her positions and ideas are so weak as to be threatened by the mere exposure to counter opinion, perhaps that's her own problem?
