When talking to the police, be polite. Comply with any reasonable requests. Do not resist arrest, no matter how bogus you think it is.

And if they're in the wrong, let your lawyer deal with it. And when it doubt, follow the instructions of Wesley Willis' "It's Against the Law".

And since we're in the thread where I've been talking about GG happenings, not much noteworthy going on since the reveal that we've cost Gawker seven figures worth of Ad revenue, unless you want to count the Hatred/Steam drama, which is pretty meh. Or Milo planning to write a book on GG.

Their yearly revenue is supposedly up, but an internal meeting revealed that advertising revenue was down in the three months or so since GG started. Without quarterly numbers, I can't really say beyond that or what it means exactly. There were a couple articles about it. I linked one a couple posts back(well, a couple of my posts, since there have been a number of other people's posts since thenedit: Post 1456).

I like to think that the lost advertising accounts were bigger spenders than the ones that are still there and that they've lost money despite it all, but that's wishful thinking, I suspect. On the upside, I think Gamasutra's traffic has plummeted, which seems unambiguously like a good trend for GG.

Valve DOES make moral decisions on what it distributes as reflected in their lack of "AO" rated games and "Americanized" versions of various Asian games to remove the kiddie panties and nipple-bounce. They just aren't making the decisions that Johnny Mcintosh wants them to make.

That said, I'm more disdainful of him wandering into a sixty-four page thread clearly about sales at Gamersgate.com and yelling about Gamergate out of nowhere like a deranged homeless person.

"Feminism expert" is a weird phrasing. It's like he's studying feminists.

I suppose he could be a professor of Womyn's Studies somewhere. I tend to doubt it, but it's possible.

He might be a regular Dian Fossey.
