Blaming the victim isn't questioning the other side, its blaming the victim. If you wanted to have a more measured response, you could have said "Obviously the death threats & posting of Dox is wrong, however..."

She DID address the issue at hand then got threatened & DOX'd. Not exactly the measured response one would hope from the honorable #gamergate folks that just want to address non--misogynistic issues one would expect. The loudest folks associated with #gamergate seem to have views more in line with Elliott Rodger, the Isla Vista shooter, than they do with people dissatisfied and angry about the direction of the video game press.
