Not only would you be ignoring other laws and practices in effect to curve the violence, the unconstitutional claim doesn't follow logic. Why would violence be curved? Because people are now afraid to act in violence because the other person might have a gun? Uhhhhh... Chicago has been deemed as one of the most violent cities in the nation, the assumption has always been that the other person has a gun. If there weren't already so many guns, shootings, murders and overall fear of death in Chicago PRIOR to the change in law, then you would have a point.
Gun laws, or gun sales aren't the real problem in this country. The fact that we're a population of belligerent assholes is the biggest factor.
That was about the only sane post I read when guns were discussed.
