Yeah yeah, necropost, I know, I'll rate myself down later or something. But I figured you might be entertained by a status update. Today one of my co-workers in a similar classification retired, so I have now gone from theoretically having no job after January 31st, to now theoretically having a "permanent, non project based position" doing exactly what I am currently doing on the server side of things. There is still a risk of one person with seniority in terms of time at agency and a position that may be going away in a year bumping into my position, but the threat is at a minimum pushed out a year now. Also, the promotion that was in process at the time a certain bridge project imploded, is now back in process again and theoretically going to occur. So, Yay?
