I've got a loaded pellet gun in a curio cabinet in my dining room. Used to use it to shoot at my far neighbors roaming dogs as they were tearing up my yard as a kid. I also have a container of 100 .22 bullets in the same cabinet, and a child-sized "chipmunk" .22 rifle sitting in my bedroom closet.
What points are we trying to make about leaving loaded guns in a room with unsupervised children and whether or not proper training courses would make that less likely to happen?
