Fox runs our local news at 10:00pm, where as the others don't air until 11:00pm. So sometimes I watch it. I didn't know MSNBC was a tv station - I thought it was just web news.

He'd have gotten big applause if he'd said "back to Kenya". The crowd didn't get the "back to Illinois" remark because none of them connected the dots between "Chicago politics" and Illinois. This is what happens when you train people to recognize only sound bites for 20 years or so.

I'd be more worried if they let the two stay.

I wonder how much money he's profiting off of his run for president. Regardless, it's official; he doesn't care about winning anymore. It is, just like everything else he's ever done, a means to more money.

It is quite the coincidence that the only two people at the whole convention that weren't under 24/7 video surveillance acted up.

Not sure what you're trying to say, but presumably someone (a fair number of someone's) knows who the two were. Assuming it happened inside the event itself, then they had to have invites and badges. So either the location is being misstated and it was just two random people milling about nearby *or* the identities of the two people are known. I'm going to assume that the longer it takes for those identities (and their relationship to the party/ticket) to be revealed to the public the more likely it is that they have little or no relationship.

I'm admittedly leading the horse here, but assuming the media has much more interest in revealing to the public that they are on someone's staff, or an elected official, or a speaker, than discovering that it was a couple people on the cleaning staff, or working for another media outlet, or other non-GOP attendees, I'd expect them to rush to get that information in front of the public if it's the former, but ignore it or wait a few days to maximize the ability for the public (and secondary media) to leap to assumptions before revealing said non-information on their corrections page or something in the case of the latter. I'm admittedly cynical about stuff like this, but it's hardly the first time something like this has happened, resulting in tons of speculation blaming the GOP and/or conservatives, only for us to find out days later that it was something completely different. Of course, by that time, the damage is done. Everyone remembers the big story when it's blasted out on headlines and news alerts. Almost no one remembers when the details come out a few days later in small print.
